This room is ideal for solo travelers looking for a sunlight, warm and cozy private space. This room is part of a traditional Lahauli home curated only for you. The interiors and amenities are a beautiful mix of the old and the new. Its creation is a passionate attempt by the local community, to preserve their heritage and bridge the gap between meaningful tourism and culture for the inquisitive. The private and shared spaces have a soothing Lahauli interior theme enclosed in the rustic mud plastered walls with original ornated wooden carvings. The views from the property add to the experience. And the lip smacking food by our trained chef guarantees a satisfied heart and soul. Being a 80 year old traditional house, the squeaky clean toilets are shared in the premises. Volunteer for a day and learn how to mud plaster or simply laze and read a book on the terrace overlooking the expansive Trans Himalayas, Zomsa makes it a perfect getaway! Perched atop the hill, the property is a 5 min hike from the main road, on a paved even path. Your hosts are always there to guide you through it. Some of our offerings are: 1. 1 Single Floor bed 2. We extend ourselves to special preferences for kids, Jain food or any other health related request for food. We try our best to fulfil your requirement in our capacity. P.S. - 1. Food is served in the Living and Dining spaces only. 2. We donot provide with room service. ROOM KEEPING - We provide room cleaning between 10 Am & 1 Pm. Guest access Guests are free to work from home in our dedicated work space, lounge in the cafe cum museum with the indoor fire place besides their private living spaces. There is a shared terrace providing unobstructed views of the sky kissing snow clad mountains of Lahaul. Guests are not allowed in the kitchen. During your stay Guests will find either of the 4 hosts and co-hosts at the stay for a seamless trip. Other things to note -No smoking inside the rooms/dining/indoor common spaces. We have a sprawled outdoor space to enjoy a smoke facing the Himalayas! - All rooms have indoor slippers. Please leave your outdoor foot ware at the covered patio of the house in the show rack to maintain cleanliness indoors. - As the property is 5 mins hike from the main road, we request all guests to travel light and carry backpacks of possible to the stay. Your hosts are always available to help :) -No laundry to be washed inside the premises. We have laundry service available on request all the time :) - Since the baths and washrooms are shared, we requests guests to clean after them so other guests too find the space as you found it :) -Room service for meals and snacks not available at the stay. We are always available at the living area for any assistance. -Packaged drinking water bottles are not sold at the property. We have purified spring water available at all times and you can refill your water bottles easily. (We do not promote single use plastic at all times). -Any damage or missing element during checkout will have to be reimbursed by the guest. Stay with us like you would at your home. -Plucking fruits or flowers from the property premises is strictly prohibited. -Outside food is not allowed at the stay. Try our in house recipes made with love instead. -Wifi is available in all areas so feel free to surf your heart out! -To save water, your room’s linen and towels will be changed after 3 nights of a guest stay, on request. -According to government rules, loud music should be curtailed at 10 pm.
