The Bower, Warwickshire

Welcome to The Bower, a stylish inviting two bedroom private space nestled in the pretty village of Claverdon in Warwickshire. This is a luxuriously furnished detached guest house set within the five acre grounds of a Victorian farmhouse which can be found down a quiet country lane. If you are looking to explore beautiful Warwickshire and all it has to offer or if you just want to relax surrounded by wonderful countryside, The Bower is the perfect retreat for your time in Shakespeare's county. The space The Bower has a spacious vaulted living room with floor to ceiling windows that you can slide open at the touch of a button, a dining area and kitchenette, two double bedrooms (one with a super king bed and one with twin beds), and a large wet room. You will enjoy glorious views of the surrounding countryside and spectacular sunsets from the terrace. There are many lovely walks and cycling routes to enjoy and Warwick (Warwick Castle) is just 10 minutes away by car while Stratford-upon-Avon (Royal Shakespeare Theatre) and Royal Leamington Spa are just 20 minutes away. The beautiful small town of Henley in Arden is only 3 miles distant. The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and Birmingham airport also within 20 minutes drive. A little bit further afield but still within comfortable striking distance are many other attractions: to the north Cadbury World (30 minutes) and Lego Discovery (50 minutes) , while to the south is the Cotswolds with its many charming towns and villages just 40 minutes away including Broadway, Burford, Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Campden. Other attractions including Diddly Squat Farm, Daylesford Organic, and Cheltenham Racecourse are all 50 mins away. There is also a convenient train station, Warwick Parkway, 10 minutes down the road. The Bower is a lovely comfortable space - a real home away from home with its cosy sitting area and smart tv with streaming services. There are books to read, games to play and wildlife to watch from the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. In the kitchenette, you will find a fridge/freezer, microwave combination oven, hob, dishwasher and all the utensils you need to cook. Tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, salt & pepper are also provided. The bedrooms offer a comfortable night's sleep with cosy duvets and pillows and towels are provided for all guests. Outside, you will find a private terrace with furniture to relax and a dining area with a table and four chairs to enjoy supper and sundowners. Parking is just outside the Bower and is free of charge. Within the grounds there is a lovely tennis court which is available by agreement with hosts and private tennis coaching can be arranged with a local tennis coach. Guest access The Bower and its terraces are for the sole private use of guests. Inside the Bower is all on one level. There is one step up from the drive into the front door and one step down from the back door to the lower terrace. Other things to note We do accept bookings with infants and children but they must be supervised at all times. There is a pond in the garden and this is fenced off. However precaution must be taken with children and the hosts cannot accept any responsiblity for any accidents or injuries that may occur. One well behaved dog is welcome on request and with the hosts approval. Weber barbecue available upon request. Charcoal not provided. No smoking on property. No decorations or glitter permitted. The Bower is surrounded by fields and farmland and there maybe occasional agricultural vehicles working nearby. In line with AirBnB terms of service, we are unable to accept 3rd party bookings.
