The space The Hare is a lovely shepherd hut with an abundance of character. You will enjoy a luxury break in this warm and cosy beautifully designed shepherds hut. The space boasts a king size bed with wonderful bedlinen and just the best pillows, ensuite bathroom and underfloor heating. The Hare has Wifi and the kitchen is well equipped with microwave and induction hob. On you arrival you will find it well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, apple juice and locally made biscuits, with fresh milk in the fridge. Towels, robes and essential toiletries provided from Plum and Ashby. With its charming tin roof and cladding, cast iron wheels and king sized double bed you'll be able to look outer the fields and enjoy a night of complete tranquillity in an incredible location. Tucked away in the grounds of Hill House the shepherd hut has a private outdoor area, with table and chairs, comfortable Adirondack chairs to relax in and a gas BBQ ready to enjoy al fresco dining. A fantastic location for exploring the city of Norwich and Bury St Edmunds, the market towns of Diss and Wymondham, the Norfolk broads and the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts. There are also extensive walks within five miles of the farm, through Thetford Forest and at Knettishall Heath. The village of East Harling is full of shops; a small very well stocked supermarket, a bakers, butchers and chemist. It also has two pubs, a Chinese takeaway, a fish and chip shop and a tea room. The new cafe in Kenninghall, The Market Place, offers wonderful breakfasts and lunches. Opening for supper onsite evening. The English Whisky Distillery, only 3.5miles away, also has a restaurant alongside whisky tours. Guest access The Hare and The Barn Owl Shepherd Huts are accessed from an off road private car park. Enjoy watching the chickens, say hello to Magic the donkey, and take a leisurely stroll through the vineyard. There is another Shepherd hut located nearby, but with all doors and windows facing the other way you should be unaware of one another's presence, unless you have booked both huts! Other things to note SWIMMING AND SAUNA Whilst relaxing at the farm you are welcome to book swimming in our private, heated pool, and a sauna slot. This is not included in the daily rate of of our holiday accommodation. Details and prices are included in the 'Arrival Guide’ that will be emailed to you nearer to the time of your stay. Times MUST BE booked prior to your stay with Mary who will let you know what availability there is. Please ask for details ahead of your booking if needed.
