The Old Forge, Exford, offers peaceful and comfortable accommodation for up to 4 guests across one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There's a family bathroom with shower over the bath, plus an en-suite shower room. The cosy living room features an electric 'wood-burner' and a 43 inch Samsung Smart TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs. The space The spacious kitchen has a dining table and chairs for 4, along with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, plus complimentary tea, coffee and sugar on arrival. High-speed fibre wifi and a hair dryer are also provided. Outside, a private patio and gravelled courtyard to the rear includes a table and chairs seating 4, enclosed by high walls and fencing on three sides, though a low waist-height wall at one end backs onto a stream, so children and dogs should be supervised at all times. Upstairs, french doors lead out to a small sheltered terrace, ideal for enjoying some fresh air. There's no allocated parking, but free roadside parking is available directly outside, along with a public car park around 100 metres away. Dogs are welcome (2 maximum) by prior arrangement for a supplement of GBP 25; please don't allow dogs on the furniture or leave them alone in the property. Children are welcome, though supervision is advised near the low wall bordering the stream at the end of the patio. Wifi, heating and electricity are all included in the price, with heating provided via fixed electric radiators throughout plus the electric 'wood-burner' in the living area. Bed linen and towels are provided, though guests may wish to bring their own beach towels for day trips. Safety features include a smoke detector, fire extinguisher and first-aid kit, with emergency exits via the front door or the porch door from the kitchen. The property is not suitable for those with restricted mobility or wheelchair users. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 10am.
