Description

Within walking distance to the lovely vibrant town of Nantwich, which hosts an array of events annually, from food festivals to battle re-enactments! With three excellent sized double bedrooms, this family friendly house offers everything you need for a great time away. In winter, you can cosy up with the open log fire burning and in summer enjoy the beautiful garden with decking and seating area for a family get together and BBQ. Chester Zoo, Peak District plus more within 60 min car ride. The space Jubilee Gardens offers a cosy yet spacious stay. Walking into the hall, the property is light and airy. The lounge has patio doors extending out into the well established gardens for summer evenings, but also offers an open fire for cosy nights in during the autumn and winter months. NB: 1 x pack of Firelighters/Kindling/Logs and Coal can be purchased @ £20. I will then set the fireside up with all necessary for you to be able to light the fire when required. ** Please see welcome pack for guidelines on open fire usage prior to lighting** The kitchen is fully equipped for dining in with induction hob, 2 ovens and separate grill. There is also a microwave, toaster and kettle. The American fridge freezer offers space for all your shopping, but if you run out of space for the wine.... don't worry we also have a wine fridge for those crucial tipples! There is a breakfast bar and dining table (extends to seat 6). Washer and dryer can be found in the utility room out of the back door. There is also a drying rack, and pegs should you wish to hang your laundry on the line in the garden during your stay. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a King size bed, a large mirror fronted wardrobe and large chest of drawers. The second and third bedrooms offer double beds and drawers and triple wardrobes. All curtains are black out lined. The bathroom offers a large corner bath and separate rainfall shower. The garden extends to a decking area where you will find our BBQ, firepit and outdoor furniture. We love spending summer evenings with friends in this part of the garden... especially when the Jasmine is in bloom. Guest access Full access to the house and garden. No access to the loft. Other things to note Nantwich is a beautiful busy market town. St Mary's Church is at the centre, and the town hosts a wealth of cafes, bars, restaurants and take-aways for the foodies. Shops are predominantly locally owned boutique shops interspersed with a few well known brands. There is also Nantwich Lake, great for a post Sunday roast stroll with the family. The attractive buildings that can be seen are an historical delight, and I can recommend a visit to the Old Nantwich Bookstore/Coffee shop, even if just to experience the slanted floors and walls! And please feel free to visit Nantwich Museum to find out about the towns rich and vibrant history. Whilst Nantwich offers a huge variety of events annually: Battle of Nantwich Re-enactment in January Jazz Festival at Easter Food Festival in early September, there are also monthly food markets, antique markets and craft markets held in the square most Saturdays. Nantwich Civic Centre also has a great line up of tribute acts to suit all tastes. Whilst there is always plenty to do in Nantwich, if a day away is what you are craving then there is always the following attractions nearby: Nuclear Bunker (15 mins) Bridgemere Garden Centre (25 mins) Dagfields Antiques and Collectable Emporiums (15 mins) Crewe Lyceum Theatre (20 mins) Oulton Park Racing Circuit (20 mins) Alton Towers (70 mins) Chester Zoo (50 mins) Blue Planet Aquarium, Ellesmere Port (60 mins) Delamere Forest- inc "Go Ape" and "Segway" activities (40 mins) Trentham Gardens & Monkey Forest (40 mins) Peak District (50 mins) Stoke On Trent's Regent and Victoria Theatres (45 mins) Shrewsbury- can be driven in 50 mins but I can highly recommend catching the train from Nantwich Train Station for a day out in this beautiful Shropshire town, indulge in some great shopping, wonderful food and possibly get locked up in a cell at Shrewsbury Prison's interactive escape room adventure!
