The Sidings

The Sidings is a brand new luxury pod that sleeps 2. It has beautiful panoramic views of the North Norfolk countryside and is the perfect place to escape the fast pace of life. Situated on the outskirts of the village of Gunthorpe and approx 15-20 mins drive to the North Norfolk coastline. Its central location makes it a great base for visiting all of Norfolk. It’s private, not over looked and has an outdoor area to enjoy the views surrounding you. The space The kitchen area is a brand new contemporary, fully fitted kitchen with stainless steel sink, range of cupboards with a solid oak worktop. Standard size oven, two ring electric hob, under counter fridge with small freezer box inside, slim line dishwasher, kettle, toaster, airfryer, microwave. A window over the sink that allows undisturbed countryside views. Blinds on window. The living area has a L-shape sofa to comfortably seat 2, a wall mounted swivel smart TV, coffee table. The sofa also has a direct view out of the French doors to the outstanding countryside views. The main area is open plan to accommodate the dining area too which has a circular table with two wooden chairs. The sleeping area is a beautifully cosy room off of the main open plan area that has a supremely comfortable king size bed, lights and bedside shelves either side with USB sockets. A built in wardrobe with sliding doors and dressing table with mirror, hairdryer and stool. The window has a blackout blind. The shower room is next to the bedroom. A contemporary brand new shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin with mirror above, bathroom cabinet, heated towel rail and WC. Velux window above WC. Towels provided for each guest. Outside there is a huge parking area that is private with its own gate for your security. A private patio with outdoor furniture to soak up the views. It has the morning sun and afternoon / evening sun for enjoyment in the spring/summer months. Guest access The sidings is on the grounds of The Gatehouse but it’s very separate and private with its own access drive way from main house gates and separate parking area directly outside of the pod that is gated. It has been carefully positioned to enjoy the outstanding countryside views from every angle and isn’t overlooked. Other things to note There is an EV charger on site at the main entrance gates that can be used. Please also be aware that the pod is very near the fields and behind it is the B1354 and so therefore during your stay you may possibly see and hear tractors and farm traffic at some point.
