Stable Cottage is a spacious barn conversion in the heart of Thurlestone village, one of several original stone barns within the Church Farm development opposite the fabulous Village Inn, just a few minutes’ walk from the many sandy beaches along the coast of Thurlestone. Attached on one side and the majority single storey with varying levels internally, Stable Cottage hugs the corner of this square of barns, private and peaceful with high ceilings, exposed trusses and beams throughout. The space Entrance hall. Cloakroom with basin, WC and heated towel rail. Bedroom 1 with single 3ft bed, wardrobe. Spacious en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, vanity unit, heated towel rail. WC adjacent. Steps down to lounge with arched french doors to the patio. Wood burning stove set into a huge fireplace, two large comfortable sofas (one a double sofa bed for occasional use), TV. Dining table and four chairs. Step down to a long corridor which leads to the kitchen diner with electric oven and gas hob, integrated fridge freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher. Central dining table seats up to eight. French doors open to the terrace. Master bedroom with Super king 6ft bed, built in wardrobes and glazed door to patio. En suite bathroom with basin, bath with rainfall shower over, heated towel rail, WC. Bedroom 3: Single 3ft bed, wardrobe,chest of drawers. French door to garden. Shower room with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, basin, WC. A spiral iron staircase leads up to the loft. Bedroom 4: Twin 3ft single beds, with low beams and sloping ceiling. Please note: The sofa bed in the lounge accommodates any party over and above 7 guests in number. Outside: Lawns edged with shrubs and low stone walls. Patio table and charcoal barbecue. (Please note the garden is not enclosed) Parking: Private parking on driveway for one car. There is ample additional parking in the courtyard. Other things to note Included: Bed linen and towels (Guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), gas central heating. Travel cot and high chair. Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available and mobile reception is generally good dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking. Pets: One dog welcome. Pet charge £30 per pet per week. Electric Vehicles: Please note this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles. Short Breaks: Available in low season and mid-season. Local Facilities: Beach: Half a mile. Excellent Village shop, Post Office adjacent Superb Village pub and Thurlestone Hotel all conveniently located opposite. Golf club and course (handicap required) half a mile. Pay and play tennis courts at Thurlestone Golf Club. Beachhouse restaurant located at Thurlestone Sands
