Other things to note Parking: There is no allocated parking and therefore we advise that you plan ahead. There are several local options nearby. Free parking can sometimes be found (though not guaranteed), and there are paid options available as well. The main central car park is Payby Phone App controlled and is approx. 15 minute walk away. Many visitors have found the 'Just Park' app helpful in securing a spot, so it’s worth looking into if you want to plan ahead. Between 1st October and 30th April there are lots of free and unlimited spaces throughout the town, the majority of those being on 'Newcomen Road and South Town' or 'Embankment Road' which is the road that runs along the entire river. During the main season (May-September) the 'Park and Ride' offers the best solution with regular buses running through the day.
