The former forge was transformed with a lot of love for detail into a cozy temporary home – many original materials were used again and were carefully integrated into a modern, ecological concept with a heat pump. The house can accommodate up to 6 people and has three bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed. The decor is a harmonious mix of selected vintage pieces and modern design, which gives the house a very special character. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment – with an induction stove, Bora hood, dishwasher and everything you need for relaxed cooking evenings. A cozy seating area invites you to have breakfast or linger, in the adjacent living area there is a dining table for social gatherings. The living area also has a smart TV with streaming services, so that relaxed movie evenings are not neglected. In the private garden with sun lounger and table set with parasol, you can end the day in peace. The quiet location invites you to switch off, while shopping and a pastry shop are within walking distance. By bike you are in just four minutes directly on the shores of Lake Constance or in 10 minutes on the historic island of Lindau with its unique old town flair. Contemplative alleys with all kinds of handicrafts, lifestyle locations at the harbor and restaurants invite you to linger. Whether adventurous or rather relaxed, gourmet and wine lovers or rather sports and adventure-oriented - the offer in and around Lindau is extremely diverse and attractive. Free Wi-Fi, a private parking space and a lockable bicycle garage are of course available. A charging station for electric cars is located about 400 m away. A special place with history and charm – we are happy if you spend your time in the cozy summer house. Amenities for a completely carefree stay: Upon arrival, you will find freshly made beds, carefully prepared hand, shower and dish towels, as well as a starter package with cleaning, rinsing and hygiene items. Final cleaning, bed linen and a set of towels per person per week are included in the price; additional towel sets can be booked at any time if required. Important notes: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this property. Flexible arrival and departure seven days a week is possible, and the existing key safe means that nothing stands in the way of a late arrival. Upon arrival, you will receive the Echt-Bodensee-Card, with which you can travel freely by bus and train in the area of the Lake Constance-Oberschwaben Transport Association (bodo).
