The space Glamping as it should be… At Brocklands Farm, our two beautiful safari tents – Yellowhammer and Lapwing – sit at either end of a peaceful meadow in the heart of the South Downs. Far enough apart for complete privacy, yet close enough for friends to wander between, they offer the perfect balance of seclusion and connection. We’re delighted to announce that our tents are being completely refurbished for 2026, bringing a touch more luxury while keeping the authentic safari tent experience that makes Brocklands Farm so special. (Please note: current photos show our original tents – the new ones will be even better!) The new designs will feature glass bi-fold doors opening onto sweeping views, improved lighting, cosier living spaces, and enhanced bedroom and bathroom layouts giving everyone their own space to enjoy whether with family or friends. You’ll also find dedicated storage for bikes, muddy boots, and wet coats – perfect for those who love to explore the great outdoors. Each tent sleeps up to six guests, with a king bedroom, twin room, and a cosy double cabin bed, all made up with luxurious cotton linens. Inside each tent you will find a luxurious private bathroom with hot water on tap, a flushing loo, and a spacious walk-in shower, plus soft towels and eco-friendly toiletries. A wood-burning stove keeps things warm, while a fully equipped kitchen makes cooking simple. Whilst off-grid, the tents include everything you need for a restful stay, including a solar powered fridge, lighting, USB charging point, and a welcome hamper of thoughtful essentials. Outside, unwind on your private deck to watch the sunset or gather around the fire pit to barbecue, toast marshmallows, and gaze up at the stars. We warmly welcome families, friends, and lovers of nature and the outdoors who come to enjoy the peace and beauty of our setting. To preserve that tranquillity, we do not permit stag/hen groups or large parties looking for noisy late-night celebrations, so kindly ask that you choose a different destination if this is what you have mind. Both tents are dog friendly, allowing up to 2 dogs per tent, so your four-legged friends can enjoy the adventure too! Guest access There are private paths round the farm for you to stroll along, easy access to the South Downs Way and other footpaths for more serious walkers and the Meon Valley Trail runs through the farm for those who like to cycle. The picturesque village of West Meon is a peaceful 25 minute walk away. Here you can visit Cuppacheeno Cafe for a coffee or light lunch, buy your groceries and fresh bread in the village shop, purchase your BBQ meat from our award-winning butcher or enjoy the ambience of the Thomas Lord pub. Other things to note Please note that our standard booking period is a 3 night weekend or 4 night midweek. Our usual changeover days are Friday and Monday. Unlimited wood and kindling are provided, along with a starter bucket of charcoal and firelighters. Starter quantities of other everyday items such as kitchen roll, loo roll, washing-up liquid, bin bags and camping gas bottles are provided to get you going on your stay! We’re dog-friendly, welcoming up to two dogs per tent, so your four-legged friends can enjoy the adventure too! Please just remember to add them during the booking process.
