Hotel bed comfort in the middle of nature - Birdbox Bergen

Welcome to Birdbox Bergen, which is located in rural Bergen. Here you are at one with nature, while enjoying comfort. Here you can enjoy sunrise all year round from the bed. The sunset is spectacular in winter, while in the long, bright summer evenings you can enjoy a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere in and outside the Birdbox. Bergen Birdbox is located on the pasture of Øvre Haukås Gård, where sheep graze all year round. In spring you can be lucky and experience panoramic views of the lambing. The space Access to Birdbox Bergen is via a path from the courtyard. There is an ascent on large parts of the trip up to the Birdbox, a trip that takes about 10 minutes to walk (about 400 meters). Western Norway is known for a lot of rain, and we therefore recommend waterproof shoes. The Birdbox is furnished with a lovely double bed, two good chairs and a small table. At the entrance at the end there is a small kitchenette with a sink. Here you will find a kettle and a small fridge. There is no running water inside. The toilet is in a separate box a few meters from the Birdbox. Here there is a combustion toilet with a simple solution for cleaning hands. Outside the birdbox there is a small terrace with two chairs that you can use. Guest access The Birdbox and associated box with toilet are for your use during the entire rental period. The area around the Birdbox and otherwise outdoors is free to use/enjoy. Other things to note There is no grocery store in the immediate vicinity of the Birdbox. It may be a good idea to plan purchases of food and drinks in advance of your stay. When you arrive at the Birdbox you will find water in the fridge, as well as a container of water. In addition to a mini fridge, you will find a kettle.
