The space Welcome to Seascape Seascape and Kinghorn invite you to a slower pace of life on Scotland’s stunning east coast. Just two minutes from the beach, with beautiful views across the Firth of Forth, this cosy retreat is perfect for peaceful mornings by the sea, sunset strolls along the shore and days exploring the Fife Coastal Path. Though connected to our family home, Seascape is entirely private and self-contained, giving you your own space to relax and unwind. Explore Kinghorn Kinghorn is a charming coastal village with a friendly local feel. The High Street has a Co-op, butcher, post office and independent cafés, including Tornado Bagel, known for its coffee, cake and light lunches, and the lovely Buttercup Café. The Harbour View offers food and drinks with beautiful views overlooking the beach. For more places to eat, nearby Pettycur Bay and Burntisland have further options, and we’re always happy to share our local recommendations. I grew up in nearby Aberdour and, after 30 years in Edinburgh, have come full circle back to beautiful Fife. I love this part of the world and am always happy to share tips on coastal walks, places to eat and things to see, whether locally or further afield. Getting here and parking Kinghorn railway station is just a four-minute walk away, with regular trains to Edinburgh in around 40 minutes and services to Leuchars for exploring St Andrews. It’s an ideal base for enjoying the peace of the coast while staying connected to the city and the wider area. If you’re driving, you’re welcome to pull onto the driveway to unload your luggage. Free on-street parking is available right outside, with a free village car park less than a minute’s walk away if needed. Discover Fife and beyond Fife is a golfer’s paradise, with more than fifty courses, from the world-famous links of St Andrews to Kinghorn’s own short but challenging coastal course. There’s plenty to explore beyond golf, too. Discover historic castles, museums and galleries, wander through nearby coastal villages, or venture further afield to Falkland Palace, the Wallace Monument and Gleneagles. Edinburgh is also an easy train journey away for a day of sightseeing, shopping, restaurants and culture. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a restorative solo break or a coastal adventure with friends, Seascape offers a cosy home from which to enjoy the sea air, simple pleasures and charm of Scotland’s east coast. Guest access Guests have access to the entire flat and the outside patio with the seating area. Other things to note Seascape comprises of 2 levels. Top floor consists of hall, living room with a dining area, separate kitchen and bathroom. Ground floor consists of a bedroom and ensuite bathroom. We are in a residential area so noise levels must be kept reasonable. The third single garage, nearest to viaduct is available for golf clubs, bikes, recharging batteries, canoes, kayaks, etc.
