Wake up to fresh sea air, stroll to the beach in minutes, or set off along the stunning Fife Coastal Path right outside your door. The railway station is just a 4-minute walk, with regular 40-minute trains to Edinburgh and Leuchars (for St Andrews), giving you the best of both worlds - peaceful seaside charm and easy access to vibrant city life. The space Seascape and Kinghorn welcome you to a slower pace of life on Scotland’s stunning east coast. Just steps from golden sands and the endless blue of the Firth of Forth, this cosy retreat is perfect for quiet mornings with the sound of the waves, sunset strolls along the beach, and peaceful days exploring the Fife Coastal Path. Though connected to our family home, Seascape is entirely private and self-contained. Your doorstep leads to charming village life - The Ship, a historic sailor’s inn now serving fine local food and wine, sits just around the corner. The small high street offers everything you need: a Co-op, butcher, post office, cafés, and traditional pubs where you can meet friendly locals. I grew up in the nearby village of Aberdour and, after 30 years in Edinburgh, I am back full circle in beautiful Fife. I look forward to welcoming you and am always happy to share local tips - whether that’s the best coastal walks or Edinburgh’s restaurants, galleries, and hidden gems. Getting here & parking The railway station is only a 4-minute walk away, with half-hourly scenic trains to Edinburgh and Leuchars (for St Andrews). If you’re driving, you’re welcome to pull up the driveway to unload luggage. Free on-street parking is available right outside, and if that’s full, a village car park is less than a 1-minute walk away (also free). Spend your days soaking up city life, golfing on world-class courses, or simply unwinding with the sea breeze in your hair. Fife is a golfer’s paradise, with over fifty courses, from St Andrews’ legendary links to Kinghorn’s own short but challenging coastal course. Beyond golf, the area is rich in history and culture — nearby castles, museums, and galleries await, while further afield you’ll find the Palace of Falkland, the Wallace Monument, and Gleneagles. Whether it’s a romantic getaway, a restorative solo trip, or an adventure with friends, Seascape is where sea air, simple pleasures, and Scotland’s charm come together. Guest access Guests have access to the entire flat and the outside patio with the seating area. Other things to note Seascape comprises of 2 levels. Top floor consists of hall, living room with a dining area, separate kitchen and bathroom. Ground floor consists of a bedroom and ensuite bathroom. We are in a residential area so noise levels must be kept reasonable. The third single garage, nearest to viaduct is available for golf clubs, bikes, recharging batteries, canoes, kayaks, etc.
