Please inform yourself on the Internet about the level of the lake, the amount of water changes, even in summer. The tranquility invites you to experience pure nature. Your studio stands alone. We only share a common internal staircase. The entire area is a dream for hiking, marveling at the sky and dreaming. The space Your studio is charming. On the large balcony you can eat or dream, the large glass surface offers a unique lake view from the bed. The lovingly designed furnishings: double bed 140 cm x 200 cm, table, 2 chairs, many cabinets, wardrobe, own, integrated small kitchen with stove (without oven), microwave, fridge with ice compartment, pad coffee machine from Senseo, large bathroom with a shower in the tub. The hillside location is perfect for a 180-degree view of the lake, with its jetties and the mountains in the background. The south-facing orientation ensures plenty of sun on the balcony. Bedding and towels are of course provided. The small studio invites you to linger even in bad weather. The kitchen area has very strong slopes due to construction, which tall people should consider!!! Again: Please inform yourself beforehand on the Internet about the water level!!!! Many do not know that the lake is a utility lake and that this fact has consequences regarding the amount of water in the lake. We have no influence on the water level, so check the Internet to see how much water is in the lake at your desired travel time. A tip: Even with little or no water, the area and the view from your large balcony is magical and rewarding! You can use our 2-seater canoe by arrangement. The boat can slide into the water from the jetty, right in front of the house. After only a short time you will reach magical steep walls where you should pause and watch birds. Otherwise you can paddle beautifully in the arms of Lake Edersee, marvel at nature and enjoy tranquility. In the front part of the boat you can protect your belongings in a hatch. We ask you to take great care of the boat and not to pull it ashore. These things are really expensive. I also love these boat trips very much, the Edersee is huge and a natural experience at any time, even with less water. You can use Starlink Internet! Actually, there is hardly any network on Scheid, we have changed that! Due to the exorbitant energy prices - we have an oil heater, no bathing in the large tub is possible, only showering!! We ask for your understanding!! Guest access You will occupy the attic with adjoining bathroom and small hallway. The entrance is shared on the first floor, where the interior staircase goes all the way up to you. Our rooms are separate on the first floor and second floor. We will gladly give you tips for excursions if you wish. We live with Sam in the house, our flat retriever. You should accept dogs. He is stunning and in a good mood, but also active. Our life is colorful and versatile, definitely quite individual. You can be completely for yourself or come down for a glass of wine, whatever you want. Other things to note - Great for home office, as there is a stable Starlink network in the house. Almost impossible in this region, here you have mega reception! - Sam, a wonderful flat retriever, lives in the house. He is reliable, loving, but also curious. You should be relaxed in dealing with dogs. It could happen that he licks you when you are downstairs :) - Please keep in mind, it is really quiet and there is little infrastructure in the immediate vicinity. You absolutely need a car for everything. - The stove has no oven. If you need an oven, then you can use ours. - We ask that you always leave your shoes downstairs in the shoe box in front of the entrance. We have a shoe-free house! Guests love it here even in bad weather. Nature is unique at all times. Perfect for stressed city dwellers. The Kellerwald behind the house is magical. The famous jungle trail is very close to the house. Parking: The entire Scheid peninsula is a nature reserve. The municipality has therefore severely restricted parking, even for residents. On the day of arrival/departure, you can drive directly to the gate of the house by car and unload/load. After that, the car would have to be driven to a marked daytime parking zone. It is on the area to the left of the snack bar, right on the turning circle on Scheid. You have to get a day ticket there. It costs 6.00 per day and can be paid in cash, by card or with the Parkstar app. The walk to the house is approx. 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I can't change that, even the municipality has no other solutions. I hope you can please understand!
