Description
The cozy, not overheated, room in the annex of my half-timbered house has its own bathroom and separate entrance. The Westerwald offers peace and nature. Here you can immerse yourself in real country life: There are quirky-unfriendly neighbors, but also wonderful ones. The Westerwald Railway passes nearby. The mattress is firm, the Internet stable, the hairdryer antique. Get out: The Blasius-Steig hiking trail leads past the house, the old town in Limburg and the surrounding area are close. #remote The space The room is quietly located at the back to the garden. It is directly accessible via the garden. The Westerwald Railway runs past about every hour and honks at the unrestricted level crossings. The heating is set to 20 degrees during the day in winter and 18 degrees at night. Since the window front of the room faces west, it heats up in spite of the shutters in the bedroom when the sun shines. The mattress is rather hard. The hairdryer in the bathroom is an original from the 70s. If you need a more powerful model, you are welcome to get it from me. (-; If several people shower immediately after each other, the hot water tank may be empty. It then takes about 20 minutes to heat up. Guest access Since the room does not have a cooking facility, I have provided you with a few menus of simple, local takeaways. Thursdays to Saturdays, the country restaurant Kochlöffel is usually open from 6 pm. Very good food to go is also offered by Hotel Nassau-Oranien in Hadamar (about 7 km away) and of course the old town of Limburg (about 18 km away). The local bakeries are open early in the morning. They offer coffee, sandwiches, sweet pastries, etc. to go. In the room there is a kettle if you want to make tea. Please only stop and park on the side of the road (about 30 meters from the property) for loading and unloading luggage or at the nearby Paul-Arens-Bürgerhaus parking lot (unlimited parking time on the gravel parking lot there, 200 meters away). During your stay When I have time, I look forward to digital interaction with my guests if they wish. Sometimes, however, I won't be available in person, but I'll respond as soon as possible via Airbnb chat if there are any questions. Other things to note - Co-working or mobile working are possible. - The stairs to the bathroom are quite steep. - Noise-sensitive people are disturbed by the a few hours by the passing trains. - The old town center is not romantic.
