Hovgaard was previously an agricultural property, where a family lived, who ran the property with livestock and cornfields. Now it is a house in the city, opposite the pond, where there are still traces of the old agriculture, and you really feel the rush of being in the countryside The space “Cozy farm with perfect location on lovely Sejerø Welcome to our lovely and spacious summer house, where there is plenty of room to romp around and create good memories. The house has 12 beds and is therefore the perfect setting for a holiday for the whole big family. On the ground floor of the house, you are welcomed into a small entrance hall, from which the stairs to the first floor of the house are located. On the first floor of the house there are four bedrooms, and on the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, small living room, large dining/TV room (incl. TV with Chromecast), bathroom and bedroom. There's plenty of room for indoor fun when the weather isn't inviting for a trip to the beach. But when the sun comes out, most of the life is lived in the house's large courtyard, where you can grill, eat, play and have a siesta. Behind the house's old stable building, there is also a lush garden, where a shelter has recently been set up. Here you can enjoy a good book in the shade or use it as an extra sleeping space. The house is also within walking distance of the harbor, so if you don't have a car, this is not a problem. At the harbor, in addition to the ferry rental, there is a jetty and Sejerø Spisehus. In addition, there are occasional flea markets and sales of local handicrafts. The island's grocery store is also just a few hundred meters from the house, and can thus also easily be reached on foot. FACTS ABOUT THE ISLAND Sejerø is 12 km long and 2 km wide and has a very sunny climate. There are about 300 permanent residents on the island, but in the summer the number of people on the island increases significantly, as many have gradually become aware of this little gem. The room is large and spacious and contains both a double bed and a bunk bed. Bedroom 3 is next to bedroom 2 and is a lovely bright room with a view of the island's cozy street. In the room there is 1x double bed + a cot, which of course can be moved around as desired. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are located at the back of the house on the first floor.
