Tucked in the heart of Ravenswood a newly developed suburb of Woodend, in North Canterbury. This peaceful and private studio wing offers boutique comfort with its own entrance and ensuite. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, it's a cozy base to relax and recharge. Just minutes drive from Rangiora and Kaiapoi townships, swimming and surfing beaches, Pegasus golf course, cafes, and forest walks. You'll enjoy both tranquility and convenience in a modern, self-contained space. The space Modern, Sunny Private Suite in Ravenswood Welcome to your own private haven in this newly built 2023 home, designed with comfort and privacy in mind. This stylish, self-contained suite has its own entrance directly from the street, offering complete independence and access separate from the main house. The space includes a queen bed with a comfortable new mattress, electric blanket, and 100% cotton sheets, plus a private ensuite bathroom. A compact kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, fridge, toaster, crockery, platters, and all essential utensils. While there’s no stovetop or oven, guests staying longer duration are welcome to use the Weber BBQ by prior arrangement. Enjoy fast Wi-Fi and a wall-mounted Smart TV, or relax in the warm, sun-filled room, kept cozy with a modern heat pump. Step outside to your own secluded courtyard with a table and chairs, sheltered by hedging — perfect for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The suite is completely private, with a double-locked door separating it from the main home, as well as a lock on your bedroom door. This internal door backs onto a small entrance corridor — not a main living area — which helps maintain your privacy. While I live in the home and occasionally work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays, the suite is peaceful, self-contained, and has no shared access. Parking is available on the quiet neighbourhood street, and off-street parking can be arranged in advance if preferred. I kindly ask that guests treat the property with care and respect, as I do. However for guests who are staying longer than four days I can provide access to my laundry and clothes line. Guest access Access to 'Ravenswood Studio' is via the stepping stone pathway across the lawn. The key will be located in a lockbox in your private patio area. Prior to your arrival i will send you the access code. During your stay The guest suite offers privacy with no need to interact with the homeowner unless you want or need to. Other things to note Ravenswood is centrally located in North Canterbury and offers an extensive array of things to do and explore all within less than 15 minute drive. Ravenswood is also in a great location for wine enthusiasts with just a short drive to Waipara Valley Wine Region home to some of NZ most celebrated vineyards. Easy access to SH 1. Distances from Ravenswood Retreat to: Ravenswood New World - 4 minutes drive Christchurch central city - 25 minutes drive (peak traffic times may alter this) Christchurch Airport - 22 minutes drive (allow more time in peak traffic) Pegasus Golf Course - 3 min drive. Pegasus also has some great cycling and walking tracks. Pegasus Beach - 8 minute drive Rangiora - 7 minute drive. Thriving rural town with relaxed atmosphere, offers boutique shopping, great cafes and all essentials. Kaiapoi - 10 minutes drive. Nestled along the Kaiapoi River this historic town has a rich heritage and friendly laid back vibe. Enjoy a river walk or a river cruise. Waikuku - 7 minute drive. Known for its stunning beach and coastal charm. Its a great spot for surfing, swimming, beach walks and fish and chips with ocean views. Woodend Beach - 8 minutes drive. Another great beach for swimming. Also able to access Tuhaitara Coastal Park near Woodend Beach great for biking or walking. It is a 700 acre ecological and cultural reserve stretching 10.5 km along the North Canterbury coastline from Waikuku Beach to Woodend Beach. Waipara Valley Vineyards - Pegasus Bay Winery / Waipara Hills / Black Estate / Greystone Wines - All approximately 25 - 30 minutes drive North of Woodend. Amberley Township - 16 minutes drive.
