PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Located in Goodwood (made famous by CBC hit show “Schitt’s Creek”,) nestled within the forest sits this private cabin as a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the urban life. Set back on a private gated property, this is a cabin in the middle of the woods which is 99% protected forest where modifications and development is completely restricted. It overlooks a large spring-fed pond and has open accessible grounds suitable for a picnic and sun-bathing. Surrounded by majestic trees as well as being an opportune spot for viewing wildlife which include birds, deer, otters, minks, fox, squirrels, chipmunks and of course bugs both at day and night. Perfect spot for one person, couple or more to enjoy the indoors and outdoors. Also suitable for a small group no more than 6 to celebrate on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversary, etc. (requires approval). No visitors are allowed for safety security and insurance reasons. This is a private property and I also reside on said property 400 feet away in a separate residence. Only the people on the reservation are allowed on the property. If you plan on having visitors please do not book. There is a designated outdoor fire-pit to safely have a fire. Guests need to bring their own firewood. A barbecue is onsite and guests need to bring their own propane tank for stays longer than 3 nights. New High Speed Internet courtesy of Starlink from SpaceX. No cameras or other surveillance equipment of any kind is inside or outside of the perimeter of the cabin. However, live camera-surveillance is installed around the perimeter of my private home ONLY which is approximately 400 ft away. NB: If you are booking for the winter months, please know that the property can ONLY be accessed by All Wheel Drive with Snow Tires or a 4x4 vehicle. Please DO NOT book if your vehicle doesn't meet the basic description for winter stays mentioned herein.
