A Writer's Retreat. Beautiful Annex in Meon Valley

A haven of peace and tranquility in the heart of the South Downs. Whether gazing across our open landscape and ancient oaks or just enjoying the authentic and beautiful furnishings, you will find time to relax and escape from the noise and bustle of daily life in this self contained annex. We are surrounded by lovely walks, great pubs and restaurants and we are only 20 mins from Historical Winchester or Portsmouth and 40 minutes from the famous West Witterings beach or beautiful Chichester. The space This is a spaceous annex with one large living space with bifold doors at one end giving natural light and access to the patio and garden. Our kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a good sized bedroom with a standard double bed, antique furniture and double glass doors leading to the patio and garden. The bathroom is also a good size and has a bath with shower hose attachment, comfort height toilet, bidet and basin and heated towel rail. The property does not have a washing machine however, I am happy to do any washing requirements in my washing machine for a small charge. Alternatively there is a launderette 20 minutes away. Guest access This property is adjoined to the host's home but there is ample parking directly in front of Writer's Retreat and you have your own private patio with chairs and table. Other things to note We own a very friendly whippet and as he has free run in the garden you will get to meet him. He will very likely come visiting if the French doors are open so please be ok with this eventuality if you stay with us.
