The cosy interior makes the most of the many charming, period features including an original inglenook fireplace, Venetian style windows and a restored open fireplace in the sitting room. The style is one of relaxed elegance with classic furnishings, cosy fabrics, stripped wood floors in the dining room and drawing room and many interesting antique pieces dotted around the house. Outside the pretty, sheltered walled garden offers fabulous river views and is fully enclosed offering privacy and a safe environment for children and dogs. As the sun moves around the garden there are lovely sunny spots for a morning coffee spent watching the fishermen try their luck on the famous Monument Pool below the house or a barbecue on the terrace overlooking the river on a summer's evening. Rod racks and a deep freeze are provided in the secure garage which is large enough for one car on request. A boot room in the house provides space for drying kit and dogs. Other things to note Dog Friendly Three well-behaved dogs are welcome (£30 fee per dog). Dogs must strictly be kept downstairs and off the furniture. Any evidence of dogs upstairs or on the furniture will result in a £100 minimum deduction from the deposit.
