Welcome to the Steenakker, a charming studio on the property of a national monument farm in the beautiful Betuwe. This unique place is perfect for peace seekers, hikers, writers or romantic couples who want to escape the hustle and bustle. The space is decorated with a nod to the past: colorful, cozy, a little quirky – and not perfect, but precisely because of that, full of character. The house is suitable for 2 to 3 people. The space Steenakker Studio is a spacious, charming studio located on a green estate in the Betuwe. The studio is located in a detached outbuilding. The interior is warm, colorful and a bit quirky – not perfect, but full of atmosphere and character. Here you can stay in peace, without Wi-Fi or television, but with nature, evening sun and your own orchard. Inside you will find: 🛏️ 1 bedroom. The comfortable double bed is made upon arrival. The bedroom overlooks your own terrace. For bookings for 3 people, an extra bed will be added. 🍴 Dining area & kitchenette The studio has a simple but complete kitchenette with two-burner stove, fridge, kettle and coffee maker. There are dishes and utensils for a breakfast or light meal. 🛋️ Large high living space The rest of the studio is open and spacious, attractively furnished with a bar, a cozy seating area, a large table, a biedermeier cabinet with dishes and the like, and books and games. 🚿 Bathroom The bathroom is basic but tidy, with a shower, toilet and sink. Towels are provided. 📵 No wifi, but peace and quiet Here you can really get away from everyday life. No Wi-Fi or TV – but silence, stars and space. Outdoor Area In addition to your own terrace, you have your own orchard at your disposal, where you can walk freely, sit or just do nothing. In the evening, the sun sets beautifully behind the trees: the perfect place for a glass of wine, a good conversation or just total peace. There is also a jeu de boules court on the premises. Guest access Guests have a completely private entrance. You will stay completely detached, without prying eyes – so privacy is guaranteed. Next to the studio is a sunny private terrace with a seat, perfect for your morning coffee, a book in the afternoon sun or a glass of wine at sunset. In addition, there is a private piece of orchard on the estate reserved for you, with another lovely seating area between the apple and pear trees. Here you only hear birds, wind and maybe occasionally a mooing cow in the distance. A place for walking, musing, or just not having to do anything at all.
