“Carrabee” a beachside haven for you & your pets

This unique place has a style all its own. I would like to start off by saying that Airbnb NOW add their booking fee PLUS their commission fees to hosts overnight charges making it seem that we charge lots more !So please note that when you book through Airbnb fees have already been calculated and incorporated in home owners fees !! Very off putting for travellers & annoying for us hosts ! So thought I’d explain ! Thank you,now please carry on reading the description of my holiday home 🫠 The space Carrabee - number 23, is on the lower level so only 6 steps into the property, it’s a one level property so no steps inside. Situated in a valley which joins the beach, a beautiful bay and Carrabee is only a minutes walk to the beach. From the wooden patio you have a wonderful view of the sea. I’ve provided internet, smart t.v. Air-fryer plus the normal cooker and microwave, washing machine, beach towels and doggie towels too, and obviously all the bedding,linens and towels. There’s a double bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 twin beds. I have recently purchased Carrabee, and just finished renovating it, including new beds and mattresses ! I love the tropics, palm trees and sandy beaches, so Carrabee has that ‘feel’ . Down on the beach there’s a cafe / bar, serving breakfast through to lunch and dinners…..cocktails / Pizza’s on the beach. I’ve provided a BBQ on the decking of the house, plus a portable BBQ to take to the beach. BBQ’s are allowed on the beach. You can sea fish off the beach, children can crab fish in the pools and swimming is perfect as it’s sandy - a sun trapped beach ! Kayaks and water boards can safely be used in the bay, and there’s also an early morning swimming / dipping club run by locals. The beach is very dog friendly so your pet can safely run around and meet fellow doggie holiday makers ! They’re free to run on the beach in the mornings and evenings and are welcome to be with their owners on the beach during the day but have to be kept on leads. This is only during high season. During the rest of the year dogs are free to run around the beach off their leads 24/7 There’s Also a large green / field next to the beach where dogs can play and run free any time of the year. . Millendreath is about 2 miles from the lovely beach side /Harbour town of Looe, with unique shops and restaurants. There’s a cliff side walk from Millendreath into Looe and onto Polperro, you can start the cliff side walkway a few yards away from Carrabee. So the location is ideal ! No carrying your cases up dozens of stairs to the top of the valley……as Carrabee is on the lower level of the valley and only a two minuet walk to the beach ! There are many lovely walks nearby, woodland, cliffside and coastal so ideal for hikers and dog walking. Guest access You have the entire property ! There’s a key box and automatic outside lighting if you arrive after dark. You can drive up to the property to drop off your luggage, and the car park for Millendreath is nearby. ( a pre pay car park charging just £20 for the week. ). Once you have unloaded, you MUST take your car to the car park as ONLY residents can park outside properties. Other things to note If you’re bringing your furry friends 🐾🐾. Please bring their bedding. Millendreath and nearby towns are very dog friendly ! On the beach, in cafes and restaurants your pets are allowed and made welcome ! For your info. There’s a defibrillator down on the beach with First Responders locally. My friend also owns the property next to Carrabee, 2 bedrooms…so if you have friends or family you’d like to holiday with to be close and share, then do get in touch !
