Located on over 120 acres of beautiful farmland, and only 3.5 miles from JMU and downtown Harrisonburg, this farmhouse has been completely restored and turned into a spacious, luxurious vacation spot that will create an unforgettable experience for you and your family/friends. There is so much to do, see, and explore - if you ever feel like leaving! The space Kitchen: The large kitchen is fully equipped with dining/cooking essentials - tableware, glassware, pots/pans, cooking utensils, and much more. A full size fridge, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker (along with complimentary coffee, tea, and sugar) are also provided. The huge dining table seats 12, and the wet bar adjoining the kitchen has 4 bar stools for additional seating, along with an additional sink and mini fridge. Living Area: The spacious living area offers plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to relax and unwind. Perfect for games, movie nights, or just hanging out and enjoying time together. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows open to the backyard inground pool and offer stunning views of the mountain range in the distance. There is a gas fireplace with a TV mounted above and a bookshelf stocked with books and games for the whole family. A desk set off to the side with a charging station offers a comfortable workspace if you need to plug back in at any time during your stay. Loft: The loft upstairs overlooks the living area, and has a queen size pull out couch for an extra bed if needed, and comfy bean bag chairs to lounge in while you enjoy the views from above. Bed/Bath: Sleeps 16 - maximum occupancy 16 guests 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, loft space with pull-out couch Downstairs Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: 1 king bed, attached full bathroom with tub/shower combo Bedroom 2: 1 king bed, access door to side porch Upstairs Bedrooms: Bedroom 3: 1 king bed, attached full bathroom with walk-in shower Bedroom 4: 1 king bed, attached full bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower nozzle attachment Bedroom 5: 2 sets of full size bunk beds, access door to upstairs balcony Each bedroom has a mounted smart TV. Feel free to log in to your personal streaming accounts. Additional Bathrooms: 1st floor: 1 full bathroom with walk-in shower 1 half bath off living area 2nd floor: 1 full bathroom with tub/shower combo Pack and play and high chair are provided Washer/dryer located in laundry room upstairs Extra linens/pool towels are kept in the closet across from the laundry room. Outside: Enjoy the inground pool (open from Memorial Day through Labor Day) but please be aware to swim at your own risk - there is not a fence, but there are clear instructions on pool rules and how to use the automated pool cover in the welcome packet. Lounge chairs and pool towels are provided, along with plasticware so you can still enjoy your food and beverages outside. There is a large picnic area on the paved patio with tables and seating for 16. Cornhole boards, Kan Jam, spikeball, ping pong, and other yard games can be found in the barn adjacent to the parking area. This barn covers a cement floor that is also a perfect spot for storing bikes if you bring yours along to explore the many biking trails in the area! There is also a private pickleball court with lights, with paddles and balls provided. *Please be sure to put the paddles back in the bin located on the court when not in use. Other things to note Maximum occupancy for overnight guests is 16. The pool is open and available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Feel free to inquire if you have questions or requests outside this date range! Extra cleaning charges will be at the discretion of the cleaning team.
