Welcome to our unique, architect-designed cabin nestled on the shore of Gimsøya – right in the heart of the stunning Lofoten Islands. Crafted by local architects, the cabin blends clean modern design with traditional Norwegian living. Wake up to breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains, for a morning swim at your private beach. It is a truly magical place to stay centered in the middle of Lofoten, making it a perfect base for exploring Lofoten regardless of season. The space The entire cabin is yours to enjoy. It features three comfortable bedrooms with double beds, complete with bed linen and warm duvets for restful nights. The bathroom includes a shower, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook delicious meals after a day of exploring the magic islands. The living room has large windows with panoramic views of the sea. Step outside onto the terrace to breathe in the crisp ocean air or sip your morning coffee with the sound of waves in the background. Just steps from the cabin, you’ll find your own private beach – perfect for a refreshing Arctic dip or a moment of stillness by the water. There’s also a charming traditional boathouse where you can relax, soak in the scenery, and, if you’re lucky, witness the magical northern lights dancing across the sky. Though the setting feels remote and peaceful, you’re just 30 minutes from Svolvær, 25 from Henningsvær, and 35 from Leknes – making day trips and dining out easy and convenient. Parking is available, with space for up to three cars right by the cabin. Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventure or quiet reflection, our cabin offers the perfect base for an unforgettable stay in Lofoten. The cabin was newly built in 2024 and of May 2025 we are ready to welcome its first Airbnb guests! We previously rented out the older cabin that once stood on this property and are excited to continue sharing this magical place with others. Our goal is to offer guests a warm, comfortable base to experience the beauty and peace of Lofoten. As a sporty and outdoors-loving family, we enjoy hiking, climbing, and skiing – and we regularly use the cabin ourselves for holidays.
