Cabin in scenic Pasvik

Surrounded by dense forest and untouched nature, this is the perfect retreat for those seeking peace, adventure, and a true back-to-nature experience. During the winter months, the area is ideal for photographing the Northern Lights and astrophotography due to very low light pollution. Øvre Pasvik has now also been certified as a Dark Sky location—the only one of its kind in Norway. Pasvik is home to a rich wildlife. Here, you can encounter several exotic species not found elsewhere in Norway. The space Our cabin was fully renovated and completed in winter 2025, offering cozy comfort with modern amenities while keeping its rustic charm. It features: * Sleeping space for up to 8 guests: 1 double bed, 2 bunk beds, and a loft area with room for 2 additional guests. * A modern kitchen with an oven, induction cooktop, and a refrigerator with freezer drawers. * Heated floors in the entryway and bathroom for extra comfort during the colder months. * Large windows that bring in natural light and views of the surrounding forest. * Indoor bathroom and kitchen with running water from an 80-liter tank (refillable during your stay). * A traditional wood-fired sauna available for guests. * Outdoor toilet (outhouse). * Road access to within close distance of the cabin. Other things to note Guests must bring their own drinking water and personal toiletries.. The cabin is off-grid in terms of sewage, with an outhouse on site. You can shower in the sauna.
