Welcome to House Adéle, our old school from 1873! A large house (530 m2) with fireplace, high ceilings, a house filled with charm and character. For retreats, large family gatherings, a group of friends or a conference. You will have the entire house for yourselves. Beautiful environment in a lovely little village by Lake Hjälmaren, close to the historic old town of Arboga. The space Here you can enjoy the large lovely garden of 7,900 m2, there are different places to sit and relax or gather around the fireplace in the evening. Eat outdoors around one of the dining areas and grill for dinner. Take a walk or bike ride through the village down to Nannberga harbor and the beach with a swimming jetty. For the active family/group there are activities such as volleyball, badminton, soccer, kubb or why not take a bike ride on the winding forest roads. There are a number of bicycles to borrow. Indoors there are large common areas with lots to do, you can play billiards, table tennis or maybe gather around some board games. There is room for groups/meetings, Wi-Fi throughout the house and more. We have a playroom for the children with a variety of toys, books and more. Lower floor: Inviting hall with seating. The former classrooms with high ceilings have now been converted into bedrooms. The old wooden floors from when the house was built are still there. There are 2 double rooms and 5 single rooms. If necessary, there is a crib as well as a changing bed. 2 showers/toilet-bathrooms, kitchen, dining room for 14 people and playroom for children. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with double beds, one of which is divisible. 1 large bathroom with washing machine/drying cabinet and bathtub. Two large rooms (over 80 m2 each) 1. TV/living room/meetings with more. 2. Pool table, table tennis, area for mindfulness/meditation or yoga, alone or in a group. Please specify the number of children/infants at the time of booking. Cleaning fee SEK 2,000. Please note that this is a big house with many bedrooms! We can help you with tips on what to do in the area, just ask us and we will try to help you. Things to note We have water from our own well so you have to be careful and not waste the water, that means filling machines when used, not washing/dishwashing under running water and try to take short showers, we think we are extra economical during the summer months. House Adéle, as the old school is called, is where we recycle and we work for the environment, the future generation and mother earth. Warm welcome! Guest access To all parts of the property except for some private storage rooms. Other things to note Unfortunately, we can no longer welcome any dogs in the house, we have recurring guests who are very allergic to fur. Please respect this, thank you! Smoking in the house is not allowed but feel free to smoke outside but remove butts and clean up ash, thank you! If small children are coming, please let us know when you book so we can prepare and welcome them in the best way. This is our home and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do. Please leave it nice when you check out, see the check-out manual that you received by email and there are copies in the house. No persons under the age of 18 may stay in the house without a guardian being part of the rental group/living in the house.
