Stay in a piece of Hochhausen’s history! Your cozy vacation apartment is located in the former offices of the old town hall—right on the bike path in the lovely Tauber Valley. Dogs are very welcome here: The nearly ground-level location with a large, fully fenced-in terrace offers plenty of space, including for sitting outside and barbecuing. Ideal for cyclists, hikers, and business travelers. The thick historic walls keep the apartment pleasantly cool in summer and comfortably warm in winter. The thick historic walls give it a very special character and keep it pleasantly cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. The nearly ground-level location makes the apartment especially comfortable. A parking space is available for you on our premises. Electric car owners can conveniently charge their vehicles at one of our three wall boxes. Sleeping & Living In the separate bedroom, you’ll find a large double bed (180x200 cm). A beautiful antique wardrobe reflects the house’s historic character while also offering plenty of storage space. There are also built-in closets where you’ll find a double set of towels and extra towels for your dog, if you’re traveling with a four-legged friend. In the cozy living room, you can relax on the couch, watch TV, or listen to music. Free Wi-Fi is, of course, available—which is also convenient for business travelers and longer work-related stays. Kitchen & Bathroom The fully equipped kitchen with a dining area offers everything you need to prepare your own meals. Coffee, milk, spices, vinegar, and oil, as well as beverages for your first night, are provided. A small bottle of local sparkling wine is also waiting for you as a welcome gift. With a fully automatic coffee maker, a microwave, a dishwasher, a glass-ceramic cooktop, and a stove, the kitchen has everything you could want. Vacation with Your Dog Dogs aren’t just allowed here—they’re warmly welcome (50 € extra cleaning fee). The large, fully fenced sun terrace is especially convenient. While you relax on a lounge chair or enjoy the evening at the Weber grill, your four-legged friend can roam freely on the terrace. Upon request, we can even provide a dog bed, a couch cover, and dedicated dog towels. The apartment is a non-smoking apartment. However, the covered outdoor seating area on the terrace makes it easy and convenient for smokers to comply with this rule. Cycling & Hiking Cycling, hiking, and walking trails through the picturesque Tauber Valley start right outside your door. You can store your bicycles or e-bikes safely in the lockable bike room, where you can also charge them. After your outing, you can wind down the day in complete relaxation on your terrace—or take a walk to the local beer garden or restaurants in nearby Werbach. Guest access Our guests have access to all parts of the apartment and of course to the terrace within the vacation apartment Altes Rathaus. In addition, guests can use the washing machine and dryer in the neighboring house, where we live ourselves, and store larger items (e.g. pizza) in the freezer. There is also a storage room for bicycles that can be used.
