We, the Dümig family, are proud to live in such a beautiful city as Bamberg and would like to enable as many people as possible to get to know our charming city. The best starting point is our centrally located and comfortably furnished apartments. The apartments "Zinngießer", "Apfelweibla" & "Gabelmann" were completely and largely renovated in-house from July 2024 to May 2025. Since May 2025, we are happy to welcome our first guests. The space The Zinngießer apartment is located in a charming almost 500-year-old house on the 3rd floor at Lange Straße 23. The apartment is accessed via a beautiful, old, creaky staircase. 3-meter-high ceilings, exposed wooden beams, beautiful, preserved oak parquet flooring, soundproofed windows, a modern, bright bathroom ensure maximum feel-good character. The apartment is designed for 2 people, has a comfortable 1.80 x 2.00 meter box spring bed with either hard or soft pillows, a fully equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, oven, ceramic hob, Nespresso machine, cooking utensils, pans & pots. Of course, a 55-inch TV with streaming function, free Wi-Fi, a fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, towels, toilet paper & soap, a wardrobe and a cozy dining area are included. Guest access The access to the apartment is via a separate entrance at Lange Straße 23. You can choose the check-in time flexibly and independently of us from 3 pm. You will receive a door code by email three days before arrival, which you can then use to enter the building. At your booked apartment there are the cards with which you can enter the apartment and also the front door. Check-out time is 10 am. If you arrive earlier or depart later, you can store your suitcases/luggage in our storage room on the ground floor. You can also enter the building without cards, with the transmitted door code. Other things to note Child-friendly We are a child-friendly house and are happy to offer you a high chair and a travel cot free of charge. If you have a need, just specify it in the booking. In addition, all of our apartments are equipped with child safety locks in the sockets. Area Information The apartment is located in the middle of the city center of Bamberg. Within a few minutes you can reach everything you need for your daily needs, such as drugstore, groceries, bakeries, restaurants, and much more. In addition, the highlights of Bamberg are within walking distance in a few minutes. The area can also be explored in a relaxed manner by city bus, as the ZOB (Central Bus Station) is in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation (approx. 3 minutes). This also makes it possible to arrive and depart by train, as city buses run from the station to the central bus station at regular intervals.
