The space Welcome to Paul and Renée's home, the passionate builders of this large family home that they have maintained all their lives. Now offered as a seasonal rental, it invites families and friends to create beautiful memories. Spread over three floors, the house offers large, friendly spaces. On the ground floor you will find: - a cozy living room with TV, a games or breakfast area, - a large dining room for 15 guests, - a perfectly equipped kitchen (Nespresso and classic coffee maker, induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer), - two bedrooms with 160 x 200 beds, - a bathroom with bathtub and double sink, and toilet. The house has fiber internet. Upstairs: - three bedrooms with vintage 70s charm, each with a 160 x 200 bed. - a large dormitory room with three single beds and a double bed 140 x 190, ideal for children or teenagers and a huge bookcase filled with books. - a second bathroom with shower, double sink, separate toilet The basement includes: - a garage for bicycles or motorcycles, - ping pong table, - a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, freezer and refrigerator. A baby bed (without mattress or sheets) and a high chair are available for the little ones. Outside, the large 5000 m² garden hosts: - a beautiful 4.50 x 11.80 m flat-bottomed swimming pool, unheated but sheltered by a rolling shelter, open from May to the end of September (depending on weather conditions), - a pool house with shower, - a south-facing terrace equipped with garden furniture that can accommodate 15 people, with charcoal barbecue and parasols, - a children's hut and a badminton net. Parking is easy with a capacity of about 6 vehicles. Located about twenty minutes from Chinon, Brizay is a charming rural village surrounded by hilly landscapes, quiet forests and renowned vineyards. Here, life follows the rhythm of nature, and that's exactly what gives it its charm. Our tourist recommendations within 30 minutes: - the castles of Chinon, Ussé, Azay-le-Rideau - the Chinon Wine Route with tastings in the troglodyte cellars around Chinon - Richelieu, the city of the Cardinal - walks in the vineyards and meetings with local winemakers. - Canoeing or fishing on the Vienne or Loire: Perfect for discovering the region differently. - the beautiful village of Crissay-sur-Manse Guest access Part of the garage is not accessible to tenants. Other things to note Occupancy is 15 people maximum including children and babies. This place isn't suitable for people with disabilities. Check-in times are 4pm / 7pm by appointment, check-out is at 10am (possibility of delayed check-out without charge until noon, with an additional charge of €50 between 12pm and 4pm, depending on the availability of the house). Bed and bath linen is not included. You can rent it (€25 per double bed/€20 per single bed including towels, beds not made on arrival in case of order) or bring your own. Pool towels are not provided. We provide you with a small basic grocery store, hygiene and cleaning products for the beginning of your stay. During the rental period, our gardener will visit every week maintain the garden. We welcome well-behaved pets (1 dog only per booking; cats not allowed).
