Looking for a cool, private and comfortable getaway? Our lovely cottage, with full bath, queen bed and full kitchen, is great for one or two guests. Our Oh So Lovely Cottage is tucked back in the corner of the estate, and is only two miles from downtown Hood River. Come, kick back and relax. You'll love it here! The space Our Oh-So-Lovely-Cottage is fun, clean, eco-chic and great for your comfort and enjoyment! Great WiFi makes for a good remote workspace and for longer stays. Our month long visitors say it’s like home away from home and come back every year. It is perfect for one or two guests who are longing for a beautiful, quiet space. The 260 sq ft cottage has a main room with freshly painted walls and woodwork, hardwood flooring, a very comfortable queen bed, sitting chair and a dinette table with chairs for two. There is air conditioning, free WiFi, an iron and ironing board and parking right outside your door. From the windows you can take in the gardens, trees and open space and, if you are lucky, may get a glimpse of quail and pheasant. The fully-equipped kitchen with heated Italian tile has a new refrigerator and stove, microwave, coffee maker, etc. There are dishes, utensils and cookware for your use. The bathroom has a heated Italian tile floor, standup shower, bath linens, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryer. Outside the cottage are sitting spaces with inviting chaise lounges and table and chairs. We have ample storage on site, please let us know if you require this. From the front patio area, you can see the garden stretch out into the yard, past the main house and way over to the barn. This lovely corner of our place is very private and quiet. The Hood River area offers many wonderful activities during all seasons of the year. The Columbia River Gorge is world-renowned for windsurfing, kite boarding and SUP. With easy access to Mt. Hood recreation areas for skiing, hiking, road cycling and mountain biking, your playtime is endless! Fruit orchards, wineries, hard cider and micro-breweries are everywhere. You will not be thirsty! We are here to help with your travel plans and look forward to sharing our Oh-So-Lovely-Cottage. Guest access Guests have complete access to the cottage and the adjacent patio.
