The space Today, Oxta is a productive plantation of young Brazilian coconut palms, with more than 40 hectares planted. You can enjoy their delicious coconut waters during your stay. The hacienda was restored 5 years ago, it has all the services and amenities; air conditioning in each room and in the dining room, high-speed internet, spacious and fully equipped kitchen, living room with TV, pool, barbecue, terrace, etc. The colonial architecture with French influence of the main house, its beautiful gardens and the coconut plantation that surrounds it, make this place an exceptional paradise. Apart from the main house, there are other important buildings. There is an unrestored 19th-century ex-machine room, where Henequen was processed in the golden age of Yucatan, which you can admire during your stay. Also the old factory, which you will see in red when entering the property, is of another architectural style than the main house. Guest access You will have access to the entire property. You would stay in the main house, and all the spaces in the main house are reserved exclusively for you. If you like to walk the coconut plantation, you can do it, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes to tour it. If you like to admire the ruins of the former engine room, you can also do so, we only ask that you be cautious since it is a 19th century ruin. The only space you cannot access is where the coconuts are processed, which was the old factory, it is the red building that is at the entrance of the property. It has no connection to the main house. Other things to note On the property there are rams, peacocks, geese and turkeys, all are in their respective pens.
