Getting out on the water is a great way to see the countryside and spot our local wildlife. Hire a kayak or take a trip on the Dartmouth river boat. Steam train journeys are available from the Southdevon Railway, which runs between Totnes and Buckfastleigh. For a seaside fix, the coastal towns of Paignton and Brixham are around a 30 minute drive away.
