Welcome to your cozy getaway on the private first floor of a stylish home—located in the heart of a nice residential neighborhood within the city. The space comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and is perfect for a relaxing respite, a girls’/guys’ trip, a family escape, concerts, golf, etc. Backyard grill with outdoor dining, high-speed Wi-Fi, and full kitchen. Your two hosts live on-site—one in the studio at the back of the yard, the other in the basement. Each space has its own private entrance. The space This 1.5-story home was built in the 1940s and nestled in a quiet, tree-lined block with nice neighbors. The home is located in a safe neighborhood within easy walking distance of 3 parks and the Johnson Street shopping area (5 blocks/10-minute walk) which has The Coffee Shop NE, Blackduck Spirits and Hearth, Parkway Pizza, Hazel's Northeast (cafe), A Bag Lady (vintage shop) and Knit and Bolt (knitting shop). Guests have the entire first floor, which includes 2 bedrooms, living /dining space, 1 full bathroom, a kitchen, and a backyard with a grill and seating. The house comfortably sleeps 6 including a sofa-bed in the living room. The front yard and back patio are available for guest use. The back walkway and black lawn area are shared with the hosts, and you may see them gardening or doing upkeep from time to time. Your two hosts live on-site—one in the studio at the back of the yard, the other in the basement. Each space has its own private entrance. BEDROOMS: Each bedroom has it's own charm and has its own closet. The back bedroom is a sun-drenched space (black-out curtains installed) with a king sized bed and includes a hammock that can be hung across the room. The front bedroom is directly down the hall from the bathroom and has a queen-sized bed. BATHROOM: The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in full built-in tub/shower. There is room in a medicine cabinet that has a small first aid kit. KITCHEN: The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, pyrex cookware, baking sheets, pizza pan, measuring cups/ spoons, dishes, bowls and glasses for 6, coffee mugs, outdoor plates/bowls/cups, stemware and cocktail glasses, coffee pot, tea kettle, toaster oven, microwave, and dishwasher. There are also some basic cooking spices, oil, coffee, and tea ready to go. BACKYARD: The backyard has a cement porch seating area and a full-sized gas grill for summer barbecues. LIVING ROOM/ DINING: The living room is an open layout with a small dining table in the back. It has a large screen TV and a large sectional/sleeper sofa and gets amazing afternoon light! PARKING: Free street parking is easily available. We have the capability for EV charging at an additional fee. Reach out to us for more information if you are interested. Guest access The entire first floor, front yard, and back patio are available for guest use! The back walkway and black lawn area are shared with the hosts.
