Pauline's Place feels like staying at Mom's house. This 100 year old home is cozy with a quirky layout, clean and well stocked. Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home, less than 10 miles from Merlefest, Faithfest, NASCAR Speedway and Kerr Scott Lake. Home is 5 minutes from Wilkesboro Second Saturdays and Samaritan's Purse and a couple of minutes from Brushy Mountain Apple Festival, downtown shops, restaurants & outdoor concerts. The space This two story home, built in 1925 has 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a comfy living room and fully equipped kitchen. This charming home has a covered front porch with porch swing and rocking chairs. Home has 3 bedrooms - linens are provided and each bedroom has a fan. The primary bedroom on the main floor - Queen bed and Roku television 2nd bedroom upstairs -Full size bed and Roku television 3rd bedroom upstairs - Trundle day bed (2 twin beds) Upstairs loft half bath has limited headspace. QUIRKY LAYOUT of Pauline's Place may not be for everyone...... 1)Main bathroom is only accessible through main bedroom. It has a walk-in shower and a separate soaking tub. 2)Only access to second floor is up the stairs through the primary bedroom. Mismatched towels, hand towels, and wash cloths are located in laundry room cabinet off the kitchen. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve meals with adequate seating in the dining room. There is also a drip coffee maker to help get your mornings started. Adjoining living room spaces have ample seating for relaxing and a Roku television for your entertainment. If you are looking for a perfectly appointed house with matching dishes and matching towels, this may not be the AirBnB for you. If you are happy with a warm and cozy home that feels like you are visiting family, you will love Pauline's Place. Keep in mind, this is a new listing and a work in progress. There are many personal items throughout that I leave to maintain the home's original charm. Guest access You have access to the entire house except for a few locked closets where we store personal items. Parking is in the back, accessible down the lane beside neighbor's house. Other things to note Please do not adjust the blinds in the living room. They are fragile and I've set them for your privacy. Replacing them is on my to-do list. As stated previously, the downstairs bedroom does not have complete privacy as it's the only access to the main bathroom and the upstairs.
