Cotswold Rooms - The Hideaway

Situated in Coaley, the rooms available are within a wing of this 16th-century Cotswold stone farmhouse. This is our luxury Hideaway room with a bathroom available across the landing and fantastic views. The accommodation is accessed via the original front door, which leads to the now back landing. No access to other rooms We DO NOT offer breakfast. Extra charges apply; - We can offer more bedrooms - We can provide a stable for up to 2 horses with prior arrangement and additional charges The space This listing is for our luxury The Hideaway room with a shared bathroom across the landing. It is a large bedroom with super-king sized bed, a built-in wardrobe with hanging space and garden views from the house. The house is situated within 6 acres of private land, including gardens and paddocks with horses and chickens. We are on the edge of the Cotswold Way, offering fantastic walks and views. Stroud, Dursley, Tetbury, Cirencester, Bristol & Cheltenham are all within a maximum 40-minute drive. We have a fantastic local pub serving lunches and dinners (3 min drive or 20 min walk). We do get limited takeaways available to the house, depending on the night you are staying - Indian, Chinese, Pizza, Fish & Chips, we can provide plates & cutlery for you. We DO NOT offer breakfast. You will have NO access to any other rooms. Shared tea & coffee facilities, along with a fridge, are available on the landing for you to use. Guest access The main door is accessed via a gravel track, then over a short section of grass and a stone patio. Please ensure you are careful as the stone patio can become very slippery in wet and icy weather. It can be dark and not well-lit during certain months. Please be careful. Access via the back door up the stairs to the bedroom and shared bathroom only. No access or use of any other rooms. During your stay This is a family home, we like to welcome guests and can offer advice on the area for walks, day trips, pub dinners or quirky breakfast cafes. Other things to note Rules - Strictly no smoking or vaping in the house or grounds - We must receive all guests' full names before arrival - No camper-vans/motorhomes/caravans are allowed on site for sleeping. We may be able to arrange parking on-site if discussed and arranged before arrival - No check-in outside the stated check-in hours - No additional guests are allowed on the grounds or in the property at any time - Strictly no animals allowed; we do have our own family pets on-site - Access is only provided to your room; you are not permitted to use any other rooms in the house - Check-in is available strictly between 4 pm and 9 pm. There is no admittance after such time, and no refunds for late arrivals that miss the check-in time slot.
