It offers you an ideal starting point, whether you are on your way south, want to visit us for a stopover or have decided to get to know the wonderful area in the border triangle. Also for day trips to Switzerland, Alsace (France) or the Black Forest. The owner can give you valuable tips on what to discover in the surrounding area by bicycle (if you do not come by bike yourself, we will of course be happy to provide you with some in the accommodation - 2 high-quality KTM bikes for €5/day) The location is in Rheinfelden-Nollingen (Germany) and in the immediate border region. The apartment is located in a quiet street opposite a small stream and is the absolute idyll for anyone who likes it rural and yet wants to be quickly in a large metropolis like Basel. The distances: On foot: ★ Breakfast/café (350 m) ★ Supermarkets (900 m) ★ Restaurants (1,000 m) ★ Train station (2 km) By bike: ★ Rheinfelden (CH - Historic Old Town) ★ Kaiseraugst (CH - Roman excavations / Museum Augusta Raurica) - from April to November also by Rhine ferry (people & bicycle transport) accessible from Rheinfelden-Herten ★ Bad Säckingen (Germany - Historic Old Town) Active on foot: ★ Easy hikes along the Rhine bank circular path Hochrhein ★ Nollinger Forest (especially in summer a treat to walk under shady trees) By car: ★ Basel Airport (25 min) ★ Basel (20 min) In addition, the apartment offers you a large balcony from which you can take a look at the outdoor area/courtyard. Here you can enjoy the fresh air, hopefully the best weather and your free time undisturbed. The kitchen offers you everything you need to feel at home. For your uncomplicated coffee enjoyment, the kitchen offers you your own Senseo machine. So that you can start the new day in a good mood after a restful night. ♨️ Otherwise, you will find everything for cooking and eating on site, we only leave the shopping to you, as you know your preferences best. In the living room you will find, in addition to the sleeping options (max. 2 people/sofa bed) also a TV, which you can of course use like your own at home. That's our concern anyway – just feel at home. 📺 If there are two of you and you want to use the queen size bed & sofa bed, please let us know by message so that the sofa bed can also be made (surcharge €10 per stay, payable on site). For longer stays, the washing machine / drying rack in the basement (from 5 nights without charge) can be used on request or by arrangement. Guest access Your place is centrally located in Rheinfelden-Nollingen. If you arrive by car, you can park it for free on the property in front of the house as soon as you arrive at your accommodation. The entrance is on the left side of the house. 🚗 If you arrive by train, the way to the apartment is quite easy, but 2 km away. So if you have a lot of luggage, we hereby point out that you are better off being athletic. 🚂 Apartment is on the 1st floor and there are stairs to walk. For train drivers, this is the completion of the sports program before you can make yourself comfortable. 😉 Other things to note The apartment is located in a quiet residential area and there is a nice senior citizen living on the ground floor. Thus, we ask for respectful interaction and quiet behavior in order not to bring unrest into their everyday life. Even if we love animals, pets are unfortunately not allowed, as we cannot ensure that allergic guests have a perfect stay after you. We ask for your understanding. Parties are prohibited due to the previous explanations!
