Welcome to Clos des Fauvettes! In the heart of the Normandy countryside and 1.5 hours from Paris, come and recharge your batteries in this beautiful country house. The estate is composed of two cottages that have been completely renovated with quality materials while keeping the Norman charm. On a one-hectare plot, you can enjoy various amenities to enhance your stay. The space The main cottage welcomes you with all the comforts. The small cottage offers an intimate and warm corner. You can enjoy a privileged environment with its large garden, patio and grove. THE MAIN COTTAGE is essentially on one level (only one bedroom is upstairs). It consists of a large living area in which are the dining room and the large fully equipped kitchen. A fireplace invites you to friendly meals. Then you will find a small cozy and warm living room, equipped with a TV, where you can relax. Continuing, you take a vast corridor entirely composed of bay windows (magnificent view of the enclosed and flowered patio) that brings you to the night part. The first spacious bedroom is equipped with a king size bed (consisting of two 90 x 200 cm mattresses that can either be separated or grouped together to form a double bed). It has its own bathroom. The second bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed (160 x 200 cm). It is suitable for people with reduced mobility. The third bedroom is equipped with a king size bed (consisting of two 90 x 200 cm mattresses that can either be separated or grouped together to form a double bed) with its adjoining bathroom. With large bay windows, it offers a great view of the patio. The fourth bedroom, ideal for children, is upstairs. It is an attic room and consists of two beds measuring 80 x 200. It has a relaxation area (with board games and books). Finally, a large bathroom designed to best accommodate people with specific accessibility needs, thanks to a bench and a redesigned space for more comfort. THE LITTLE COTTAGE also opens onto the patio and offers a very pleasant room, equipped with a queen size bed (160 x 200 cm). It has its own bathroom in which you will find a beautiful bathtub on feet. Away from the main cottage, it remains very close and allows you to enjoy a haven of peace and tranquility. Some rooms are equipped with a desk where you can telecommute. THE EXTERIOR: You will have at your disposal different spaces that will welcome you according to your desires or the time of day... - The main garden in front of the house where you can eat and entertain. Indeed, you will find a pergola that houses a large dining table. A gas plancha is at your disposal. Opposite is a large and beautiful swimming pool (heated from May to the end of September). It is secured by an electric roller shutter. You can sit on its wooden beach, in the sun or under a parasol, lying on the deckchairs. An outdoor shower will allow you to cool off without having to enter the house. A little further, on the side of the estate you will find the leisure area with a petanque court, a ping pong table, a swing for children... everyone will find something to do! - The magnificent enclosed patio in which you can walk and relax, comfortably seated in colorful Chilean chairs. Paved and decorated with lawn and flowers, it offers you a moment of escape and serenity. - Finally, the grove, at the back of the estate, will allow you to stroll in the middle of nature. You can sit on the benches to read or dream... You will have the option to park your vehicle at the entrance to the estate, in front of the house. An electric terminal is available to charge an electric car. In the immediate vicinity (4 km) of the estate is Damville where you will find all the local shops as well as a supermarket. Guest access You will have access to the entire estate (except for the storage garages at the back of the property). Other things to note POOL: The pool is equipped with an electric safety shutter. Please use it in compliance with the safety provisions and close the shutter as soon as no one is nearby as well as in the evening. This cover is not a substitute for your vigilance in supervising your children. RULES OF THE ESTATE: Thank you for: - not climbing on the well (present in the patio) which is closed by a gate and not throwing anything inside - not using bleach. Household products are at your disposal - not making wood fires outside - not to set off fireworks Tents, trailers and motorhomes are prohibited on the property. Likewise, we thank you for smoking outside the houses and not throwing your butts on the ground. No pets are allowed. GOOD TO KNOW: The Clos des Fauvettes is equipped with a video surveillance system (motion detection) inside and outside the property. This is disabled during rentals, in addition the indoor cameras are obscured.
