These holiday homes in Tamborine are perfectly close to the city yet wonderfully peaceful and unique. Tucked into a forest in South East Queensland's hinterland, this hidden spot offers total privacy with nature on your doorstep. Near Mt Tamborine, Cedar Creek Falls, Broadwater Parklands, Logan River Parklands, Berrinba Wetlands, and Windaroo Lakes Golf Club. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you’re booking for a group, we also offer four additional tiny houses (Van Demears Escapes 2, Van Demears Escapes 3 and Van Demears Escapes 4) available with 24 hours’ notice, ensuring you even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy. Guest access Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings. The main house is accessible by invitation only. Advisory: - Please leave your rubbish indoors. - Please note that we have dogs, horses and foals within the property. - A dog bed is placed under the bed if you are bringing your pet, let us know if you need a pet towel or extra supplies. Preorders with 24 hrs’ notice: - Firewood is available for $25 per bundle, kindling is free - Extras like breakfast, firewood, horse riding, farm tours, and swimming are available at additional cost. Other things to note - BBQ grill is available - Wifi is currently not available - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Smoking is allowed on designated areas of the property - A dog yard near the main home may occasionally be noisy - Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra; Weak signals for the rest - The tiny home is safely set back, away from the dog yard, ensuring privacy - Breakfast, firewood, and coal are available upon request at an additional cost - Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge - Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. Important note: - Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
