Cozy, spacious room in Williamsburg

Spacious, furnished room in conveniently located apartment in East Williamsburg, steps from the subway (L Train). Only 10-12 min with the train to Union Square and East Village. Cool, cozy area with lots of restaurants, bars, independent stores and coffee shops around the corner. The space * Sept 1 - Sept 10 I'm away so it's like having a 1BR apartment to yourself. My bedroom is NOT for rent though. Cozy and spacious room in a 2BR apartment just steps from Grand station subway stop (L Train). It takes 10-12 min with the train to Union Square so it's a great spot for someone who wants to stay in Brooklyn but still have an easy commute to Manhattan. There are plenty of great places just outside the door: restaurants, bars, independent coffee shops, cool vintage stores. The apartment is located just on the border of Williamsburg and Bushwick and it's walking distance to Bedford Ave, McCarren Park and Greenpoint. It's a very safe and fun area. The room has a full size bed, a desk, a chair, a dresser, a clothing rack, another small dresser and it gets a lot of light. AC for the summer and good heating for the winter. If you but your head out the window you'll see One World Trade Center in the distance. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and you're of course free to use it. Laundromat is just a block away. You'll normally share the apartment with me, a Swedish female journalist who has been working in NYC for eight years. Just to avoid misunderstandings: This is a place for guests who are used to living outside of their parents' care, and who can keep a little tidy. Nowadays, many airbnb's are more like little hotels – this is not that, this is regular home sharing :) Reach out if you have any questions!
