For outdoor meals, make use of the electric BBQ/Grill on the balcony, and be sure to step outside to take in the beauty of the Dandenongs. The fireplace has been decommissioned. Be aware of steep and partly unsealed driveway when arriving and parking. No smoking anywhere on the property Magnolia Lodge sits on over an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds, with gardens providing a natural screen for complete privacy from the owner's residence nearby. Alice Street is an unsealed road - consider the kind of vehicle you're taking to Magnolia Lodge. The driveway is newly paved and winds up fairly steeply past the owner's home up to the top where the Lodge is. PLEASE NOTE: Guests are provided with a supply of firewood - when that is all used, please BYO. The collecting and burning of twigs, leaves and branches from outside your property is strictly forbidden at anytime. During the fire season no wood or kindling provided will be provided at your property, you may set the fireplace or firepit on days where there is no wind and not a Total Fire Ban.
