Description

The cottage is hidden in the woods, it is not on the main tourist route, and it is at the end of the road, you will enjoy complete peace and quiet from cars. In summer, it is 3 degrees cooler than in the center or by the water. The advantage is a large 1000m2 plot that provides privacy from passers-by. The advantage is a covered spacious terrace in case of bad weather, you can still spend time outside. The cottage dates back to the 1930s, when two friends bought it as a semi-detached house. The lower part of the cottage is brick, the upper part is wooden. The space 1 bedroom, 3 people (2 adults and 1 small child sleeping with a parent), 1 double bed 120cm, 1 bed 90cm. It is possible to set up a tent at the cottage. Towels are available. Solid fuel heating, wood available and included. The cottage is not insulated, in the cold months this discomfort should be taken into account. The kitchen is fully equipped, stove (2 hotplates), pots, french press, fridge, microwave. Basic foods and spices (coffee, tea, bottled drinking water). The nearest grocery stores are Penny, Albert and also Rohlík delivery, etc. Children and pets are welcome. For small children there is a sandpit, a built-in slide, a children's kitchen, painting. Children's table with chair, outdoor children's bench. Wifi is not set up, mobile signal is available from all operators. Solid fuel heating, wood available and included, direct heating. Shower, boiler, toilet, sink. The cottage is fully electrified inside and out. Parking space for one car. The access to the cottage is steeper, but there are stairs. Public transport The cottage is also accessible by public transport. From two directions, the first from the Rakovec stop (then uphill 10min), the second from the Ruda (then downhill 15 min). Surroundings In the immediate vicinity, within a walking distance of about 10 minutes, there is the Brno Dam, where you can swim from June to the beginning of September. There are a number of restaurants and bistros right on the beach around the dam. In many places you can rent boats, pedal boats, paddleboards, etc. Many children's and sports playgrounds. Our favorite places are Kozí horka, U sinice, Sokolské swimming pool, Stará Prádelna. Trip to Veveří Castle. City center By car within 15 minutes, public transport within 30 minutes. Brno is a city of functionalist architecture, UNESCO Villa Tugendhat (tickets must be secured up to 3 months in advance). Reservoirs of technical monuments, traditional monuments of Špilberk. Cafes, gastro scene. Music festivals Popmesse, Jazzfest, Who will this stay be suitable for? Those who appreciate a stay in nature, are looking for peace, a view of the greenery. He's not looking for the comfort of a hotel. He wants to enjoy the nature and the accessibility of a vibrant city. Arrival, departure By appointment between 9-18h There is a cleaning fee of 200 CZK for a pet (one-time per stay). Guest access It is possible to use the entire cottage, including the forest land.
