Location, location, location plus beauty and nice :-) people make this place a winner. It is not easy to toot ones own horn, but as you look for a quality place it will be helpful for you to know that we have a total of 1004 total of 5 star reviews between our2 offerings, a lightening bolt Super Host status, response to inquiries within the hour and a 100% response rate. :) At our place you will have the highest speed Internet and beautiful furnishings, 2 living room type areas, queen size quality (i.e., expensive) mattress, new convertible sofa with mattress topper, and a beautiful tiled bathroom. Plus you will have your own entrance, a garden area with beautiful high end teak outdoor furnishings and a view of the marsh and pond. A Great Blue Heron and 2 ducks were out in the pond today! We are a friendly couple. Our love of people is what has inspired us to want to open our home to the world. We really enjoy sharing our home with others. We are as open to interaction as people would like. We know the area thoroughly. If you have a free day and want to know what to do I will have multiple lists of great opportunities at only the best places and at the best times and at the best prices. The Guest Suite is at the garden level of our house and is always cool in the summer, even without air conditioning, but we do provide air conditioning too. We live on the second floor of the house and your private suite is spacious. It is flooded with natural light from windows or French doors on every available wall. Our property is a birding hot spot. So too is the whole Town of Cape Elizabeth for that matter Besides the shoreline, there are incredible marshlands and public woods in the area. The morning aviary choir here is truly wonderful in the mornings. You have your own private outdoor sitting area surrounded by a classic New England stone wall filled with flowers. On the next floor up, over the apartment is where we live. We are super quiet and the apartment is sound proofed. Guest access You will have ultra high-speed Internet, and beautiful furnishings, everything you need, queen size quality mattress, convertible sofa with Temperpedic topper in the Great Room, basics for meals, and a beautiful bathroom. You will have your own entrance, a garden area with beautiful high end teak furniture overlooking gardens, a pond, a little bridge and a lovely deck overlooking acres of gorgeous nature. We even have a dining deck and a grill. Plus we provide boogie boards, beach towels and chairs plus a cooler. It is a gorgeous mother-in-law apartment that we have decided to open up to the public to share. Other things to note We have done our best to provide a safe home for you. We have fire extinguishers on the wall centrally located, wired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, exit signs, night lights and special lights that work even if there is a fire and actually glow brighter so as to guide you even if there is a power failure. Fire escape access is obvious, but I even provide a little map of the fire escape route. May you have a safe and enjoyable visit.
