Welcome to IROISE, the owner, photographer, being known for his images of lighthouses in storms, the sea of IROISE is his favorite playground. This family property acquired in the 19th century consists of a building corner of 240 m2 on a plot of 8530 m2 including 2700 m2 of landscaped garden with rockery, fish pond and gazebo and 5200 m2 of fifty-year-old Douglas fir. The space This old house has been renovated to accommodate 6 people with family or friends. The house is spacious with: - A large living room - A dining room - A fitted and equipped kitchen - Three bedrooms upstairs, one with bathroom - A separate shower room - A separate toilet - A terrace with outdoor furniture The terrace is quiet: it overlooks the garden and a small wood. A place that invites contemplation and welcoming the present moment. At the end of winter, many Camellias brighten the park. In April and May many rhododendrons are a delight for the eyes, followed by roses and then hydrangeas all summer. The hamlet is 10 km from the 4-lane N24: 4 hours 15 minutes by car from Paris. Travel time by TGV to Vannes station between 2 hours 20 minutes and 2 hours 40 minutes The village of Plumelec, equipped with all the useful shops, is 1.5 km away. Located between the Gulf of Morbihan and Brocéliande in the heart of the Lanvaux moors, Brittany of tales and legends. The landscape is pleasantly hilly, the Cadoudal coast is well known to amateur and professional cyclists. There are many castles along the walking routes. Distance from places of interest as the crow flies: - The city of Josselin and its castle: 14 km - The city of Vannes with the medieval heart, the ramparts and the port: 23 km - Boarding from Vannes offers you a magnificent tour of the Gulf of Morbihan and possibly Belle-Île-en-Mer, Houat and Hoëdic. These two medieval towns are models of heritage restorations. Golf courses as the crow flies: Ploermel, 22 km La Bretesche, 54 km Kervers, 40 km Baden, 33 km Quévin, 60 km Ploemer, 65 km Other things to note The place is completely non-smoking. Sheets and towels are provided We must use each guest to clean and change linens. You will be asked to do your dishes and evacuate your waste at the end of the stay. Check-in is from 5pm and checkout is before 10am. Depending on availability, we can accept an earlier check-in and/or a late check-out for an additional charge of 30 euros per change. Included is a standard electricity consumption. Excessive consumption (e.g. heating at 25 degrees) will be charged extra.
