The Auberge de la Fontaine is a charming place. Nestled in a peaceful environment, it houses several character cottages, all united by the same atmosphere: calm, nature and authenticity. This small village house is composed of: On the ground floor: - a kitchen equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, dishwasher, coffee/chocolate/tea machine Dolce gusto brand, filter coffee machine, kettle - a living/dining room with a wood burning stove for an evening by the fire, a small table for toddlers with board games and coloring. A convertible click-clack sofa that can be used as an extra room - Bathroom with bathroom, shower and washing machine, Upstairs accessed by stairs: - 1 bedroom with a double bed 140 x 190 cm - 1 bedroom with a double bed 140 x 190 cm, Other things to note Linens and towels are provided Indoor parking to park your vehicles Pets not allowed NO SMOKING INDOORS End-of-stay cleaning included The coffee maker is a dolce gusto with specific pods (2 pods per person are provided) It's winter?! Electric heaters and a wood-burning stove are there to warm you up. Since we only heat the space and not the planet, consider turning off the heaters when the fireplace is on as it heats the house in its entirety. We provide free firewood for the first fire and enough to refuel for a while. We can make it available as many times as you like during your stay. To provide you with a warm welcome, I would like to welcome you personally. To do this, check-in will be from 6 p.m. and check-out until 11 a.m. A continental breakfast is offered (on Saturdays and Sundays) with a supplement of €10 per person (to be ordered on site at least the day before or ideally with a message at the time of booking) A games room (pool table, pinball machine, air hockey table, ping-pong table) / gym (exercise bike, rowing machine, treadmill, weight bench, exercise mat, and various sports equipment) are available for your use in a dedicated building. The Eure Valley is an exceptional site for hiking, biking and kayaking The Auberge de la Fontaine is located in the heart of the Eure Valley, its location is ideal for visiting the region (11 km from Pacy/Eure, 13 km from Evreux, 22 km from Louviers, 23 km from Giverny and 1h30 from Paris). The Eure Valley is ideal for fishing, hiking, biking and kayaking. Fountain under Jouy throughout the 20th century: A walking tour of about 1.5 hours is an invitation to discover Fontaine sous Jouy and its hamlets. Starting from the city hall, this circuit, set up for the celebration of the year 2000, will introduce you to the main historic buildings of the village and its hamlets. On the small building adjoining the town hall you will find the general sign of the circuit that will take you from the center of the village to the hamlets of the Aulnaie, Haumonts, Croisy and Oriots. The waterfront walk: In the very center of the village, this pedestrian and bucolic walk will take you along the Rosey from Rue de l 'Ancienne Forge (at n° 30) to the mill via the Pont des 3 boards. Trails and paths around Fontaine sous Jouy: Around the village, 2 walking tours to do on foot, on horseback, or by mountain bike... These two courses have a wide variety of landscapes and panoramas with wide and beautiful views of Fontaine and the Eure Valley: • Circuit des Traquecins: discover the panorama from the hill of the Traquecins before descending down into the valley and its ponds. • Forest Circuit: From the valley to the forest of La Ronce, very varied landscapes alternate throughout the circuit: a third in the forest, a third in the open fields of the valley, a third in the alleys of the woods of La Ronce.
