Blue Doors - House

Swagatham! Welcome to " Blue Doors", a traditional Kerala home for authentic vacation among locals in Kazhakuttam, Trivandrum. The 40 year old property is perfectly located to start or end your holidays or simply discover lots of places in and near the capital of Kerala. Just 15 min drive away from the airport, nearby supermarkets and restaurants (hotel we say :)) 10 mins drive to the Beach. 15 min drive to the Backwaters, 3kms away from the Technopark, 27kms from Varkala and Kovalam beach. The space The house is a one bedroom house equipped with AC in the bedroom, ceiling fan in all rooms, TV, WiFi , Refrigerator, Washing machine, modern toilet with hot water shower and a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, electric induction stove, air fryer, griller/toaster, and hot water kettle. Smoking is allowed in the outside sitting area. The house is built using locally available materials like clay and wood mostly. The interior design reflects a mix of vintage, recycled and new items to keep it as eco-friendly as possible and in lign with the architecture of the house. The house was bought by my grandfather in 1993 and this is the house i grew up. It was recently renovated in 2025. Guest access The entire house will be your private place during your stay. This includes all indoor and outdoor areas that belong to the property.. Other things to note No parties allowed.
