Come and stay in an old traditionally farmhouse for employees at a Norwegian farm in Noresund, 100 km and approximately 90 minutes drive from the city-center of Oslo. Two hours and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). This is in the heart of the Norwegian fairytale tradition. It is about 450 meters from the lake and 10 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. The high mountains of Norway starts here. The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin. They are all nice. The space The timber walls gives the farmhouse a distinctive atmosphere. The 145 year old craft gives the experience of centuries of construction style. The house was built in the early 1880s for farm workers. The building is in original condition and retains contemporary colors and decorations, but is upgraded to today's standard. Bed linen, towels, duvets and pillows are included in the rental. One of the beds is 120 cm wide (Queen size), well suited for two children. Two adults with great affection for each othe may also fit well in it. There is an extra bed in the sleeping. The building is on one floor. In the kitchen you will find boiler and modest kitchen equipment, including a dishwasher. It is equipped with sheets and towels. There is no extra payment for heat, electricity or water. Maybe a farm gnome will come by and clean the kitchen while you sleep. If you've taken good care of them. The patio in the yard is available for guests to use. But be aware that this is a farm with full agricultural operations, which means that there may be traffic in the yard at times. So you risk being woken up by birdsong as often as the farm bell or a tractor. Other things to note Before arrival, we will send you a message with details about parking and keys. The yard bell rings from 08-20 on weekdays and 09-22 on weekends. Waste is sorted at source. The waste containers are located between the storehouses. Therefore, there are buckets under the kitchen counter; one for plastic and one for residual waste and one for biological waste. There are separate bio-bags in light green plastic for biological waste. Between the storehouses there are waste bins with blue lids for paper and cardboard. Containers with green lids are for glass and metal. Containers with dark gray lids are for residual waste. Containers with yellow lids for plastic, and light green for biological waste. Plastic may be placed in a separate bag that is attached with a yellow hook to the container for paper and carbdord, with blue lid.
