Come and unwind at this cosy, peaceful cottage escape in the Cornish countryside. Well-located in the charming village of Constantine, within easy reaching distance of the colourful harbour town of Falmouth, the SW coast path and stunning beaches. The space The cottage has been lovingly renovated and features a new shaker-style kitchen, comfy sofas to relax on, a downstairs bathroom and 2 lovely double bedrooms upstairs. For your comfort it is fully equipped with modern amenities including underfloor heating downstairs and a wood burning stove. As a traditional Cornish cottage it is cosy in size with coastal touches. It can accommodate between 2-4 guests. Please be aware that this is our home, as such there will be belongings around the house. Renovations are finished on the ground floor but still some final polishes upstairs. We will make sure the space is fresh and clean, and that there is room for you to unpack should you wish. Master bedroom: Double bed, reading lamps, clothes storage space, and blackout Roman blinds for a peaceful night’s sleep. Second bedroom: Double bed, reading lamp, workspace and blackout Roman blinds. Garden: rustic cottage garden featuring climbing roses, lavender, tulips and herbs. Small side patio with outdoor cold and hot taps. Solar panels on roof. Parking: driveway parking space for 1 medium car. There is also free on-street parking outside the cottage. Location The cottage is on a quiet, mostly pedestrian lane in the centre of the friendly village of Constantine. Walk out your front door into the beautiful Bosahan woods with rushing streams and wildflowers galore and make the most of stunning local countryside walks. There is a handy SPAR corner shop just a 2 min walk away. This is a foodie corner of Cornwall and in close proximity there are excellent waterfront pubs such as the Ferry Boat Inn and popular brunch spots like Potager Garden and Slice of Cornwall. This cottage is a great base for those looking to explore the bustling harbour town of Falmouth, a 15 min drive away along narrow country lanes. You have many stunning sandy beaches to pick from all within a 20 min drive, including Maenporth Cove, Gyllyngvase, Swanpool, Poldhu, Gunwalloe and Church Cove. You will be staying within the Helford AONB, with all the creeks and beaches of the delightful Helford river close to hand. The Helford area is a walkers and watersport enthusiast’s paradise. Choose from paddle boarding, wild swimming, pub walks, ferry rides, and subtropical gardens including Trebah and Glendurgan NT. The wild and rugged Lizard peninsula is only a short drive away for those wanting to visit iconic spots such as Kynance Cove, Mullion and Lizard Point.
