La Maison Bleue

Relax in the heart of a small typical village of Picardy. TRACY LE MONT is located on the edge of the forest, north of Paris and 20 km in the triangle of Compiègne, Noyon Soissons. The blue house is made of stone and is semi-detached from the owner's house. It welcomes you all year round in a charming setting. The space The house consists of a living room with a kitchenette composed of dishes, fridge, induction hob, microwave, Tassimo coffee maker, kettle, living room with TV sofa table chairs (Wifi access). The bedroom is on the mezzanine a bed with very good quality mattresses (160X200), a wardrobe, an office table and a small sofa bed to accommodate a child. The bathroom is small but the space is optimized and functional, a sink , a toilet, a shower, and a storage unit. You also have access to a small veranda with table and chairs to enjoy a relaxing moment. Linens are provided (sheets, bath towels). Fireplace unusable. Guest access The entire home is available for your use. Parking in front of the house is free and accessible. It also offers opportunities to observe local wildlife, including deer, roe deer, and wild boar. Marked trails, such as "Chemins de mémoire à Tracy-le-Mont" (6.92 km) and "Le Mont des Singes et l'ancienne Abbaye de Sainte-Croix" (8.32 km), allow you to discover the surrounding landscapes while exploring local history. * Memory of the Great War • 14-18 Memory Circuit: A marked route from the church takes you in the footsteps of the Poilus, with sites such as the Bernanval infirmary, the Bimont washhouse and the national necropolis where nearly 3,200 soldiers rest. • Carrière de la Maison du Garde: Located about 300 meters from the old front, this quarry served as a cantonment for soldiers. It preserves moving testimonies of the daily life of the Poilus, such as sculptures and graffiti. • Clairière de l'Armistice in Rethondes: Historic site where the 1918 armistice was signed, located about 15 minutes from Tracy-le-Mont.
