Each suite is built with locally sourced wood and natural materials, blending modern comfort with Javanese craftsmanship. During your stay We're a small team and stay close by, so you'll have privacy, but we're never far if you need anything. Watukarung is a quiet fishing village. Don't expect bars, clubs or shopping, expect surf, stars, and silence. ATMs and larger shops are in Pacitan town (~30 min by motorbike). We can help arrange transport, surf lessons, scooter rental, or day tours to caves, waterfalls and hidden beaches. Other things to note Watukarung is a small fishing and surf village on Pacitan's southern coast, a hidden corner of East Java that most travellers never reach. The main beach is 3 minutes on foot from our gate, with consistent reef breaks suitable for intermediate to advanced surfers. Beyond the surf, the area is famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs, white-sand beaches (Klayar, Pancer Door, Buyutan), giant caves (Goa Gong, Tabuhan), rice fields, and warm village hospitality. Daily life moves slowly here. You'll wake to roosters and rustling palms, watch fishermen come in at sunrise, and eat fresh seafood at family-run warungs in the evening. It's the Indonesia people remember, before tourism caught up.
