Family-friendly forest cabin

Family friendly cabin nestled in the woods fully equipped for everything you need for your toddlers or infants. We are a family that LOVES the mountains and felt like it was such a hassle to take EVERYTHING for a weekend trip to the sierras. We have a bumbo seat, a camping feeding chair, 2 pack and plays and an extra pack and play mattress. We have toddler locks on most cabinets and socket covers on all sockets. If you happen to find a socket uncovered, there's more in the utility drawer. The space The house is a 2 story house with an open concept kitchen/dining/living area great for spending time with everyone. The living area comes equipped with a foldable play mat for your little ones to enjoy the magna tiles downstairs. Upstairs, there's a loft where there are 2 twin beds and a dedicated play area with toys and books. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for all ages. We provide a bottle warmer for the little ones, espresso machine, and a ninja blender for delicious margaritas. Spices and cooking oil is not something you'll need to worry about. The master bedroom has a dedicated balcony which is perfect for a morning cuppa or an evening drink. You'll be looking out into the forest in the backyard. It's the coolest room in the house, resulting in a deep sleep under warm covers for anyone that's slept there. The other 2 bedrooms are both equipped with a queen and twin each. The bedroom downstairs is the warmest room in the house, and the room upstairs can get a wonderful breeze by cracking the upstairs windows. For those of you with little ones that aren't ready for a bed, we have 2 pack and plays with an extra pack and play mattress, a hicapop toddler blow-up bed and a slumber pod in case your little one is light sensitive. We even have an amazingly soft and warm sleep sack. Guest access Guests will have access to the house with a lockbox code. Other things to note Dogs are welcome at the cabin. We only request that your dogs are well trained and will not damage the furniture or place if left alone. You will be requested to replace/repair any damages. We have a lot of gear that you are welcome to use. Sleds are on the side of the house, winter gear life jackets for little ones is in the master closet. The only thing we ask is that if you use any of the winter gear, please just make it obvious that you used it so that we clean it before putting it back for others to use (i.e. put it in the washer or leave it with a pile of towels). Just leave the boots out of the closet, and we'll know you used it. All winter gear hanging in the main closet in the photos are put away in bins during the summer months. One note about the house is that we have a septic system, and to prolong the health of the system, we request that you do not flush toilet paper. We provide doggy bags in case you want another layer of secrecy.
