Franklin Lodge was constructed in 1850, 6 bedroom 2 story home features 4 rooms with ensuites, plus 2 other bedrooms & a 5th bathroom, with the features including open fire places, pressed tin ceilings, original doors, woodwork, ornate fireplaces & a large wood heater. It is facing the Huon River, nicked named "Botanical garden of Franklin" by the locals. We welcome tourists to share the 4 ensuites. The space Franklin lodge is a heritage federal Queen Anne style property that is 175 years old but it's a new and old mixed style setting with antique furniture and modern furniture. The feature include tin ceilings down stairs rooms, attic rooms upstairs, open fire places, original doors, woodwork, ornate fireplaces & a large wood heater in the kitchen but heating up the lounge room It is facing the Huon River, nicked named "Botanical garden of Franklin" by the locals. We welcome people on vacation to share the 2 of the 4 ensuites.
